Bought this a month ago to install on our new colourbond gate. It was installed by a professional and after 1 week the push button stopped connecting to the latch internally, thus unable to open the gate from the outside. After numerous attempts by numerous people trying to fix it (professionals included) it works for a couple of days then same thing happens. Happened 4 times now over a course of 3 weeks. In the end it was a unanimous vote that it is just in fact just a flimsy POC. Don't waste your money

Got my series 2 replaced with the series 3 by dd tech under warranty. Still works. You need to have the connector rod as it says though. Its why they put a spare connector rod in the package or it will lock you out streetside. I had the problem with the series 2. They built the series 3 stronger.

Love this gate latch I’ve never put one before and was able to do it on my own. It’s perfect. As long as you have the correct tools. Make sure you have the 13 mm drill-bit and the job is easy. Looks great and works great.
