#New Owala Tumbler Stainless Steel Insulated 24oz, Lost Valley

I bought an Owala 24 oz tumbler to keep in our camper. I like to use the tumbler for my cold drinks. I'm currently on a camping trip in the mountains. I poured some sweet tea with ice in my Owala tumbler. I forgot to take the tumbler with me for our day out. We were gone for at least 6 hours, and we forgot to turn on the A/C inside our camper that morning, so it was hot inside our camper when we returned. I was for sure the ice had melted inside my Owala tumbler. I was proven wrong as I picked up the tumbler and heard plenty of ice still inside the tumbler. The tumbler is spill resistant, and it had a 2 in 1 lid. In other words, you can use the straw that comes with the tumbler or sip from the lid opening. The Owala tumbler is BPA free, easy to clean, as well as stain and odor resistant. The Owala 24oz tumbler is one of the better tumblers I own. I can definitely see myself purchasing another Owala tumbler in the future

Absolutely Love

The Owala 24oz Stainless Steel Straw Tumbler in the Alpine Sport coloring is my new favorite beverage container. The design, coloring and ease of use is a dream. The designers thought of everything when designing this lid and size ensuring it fits in your average car cup holder. I’ve been a big Yeti girl up until now but I think Owala has stolen my heart. Super easy to clean too. I love how the all comes apart for ease of washing. Thanks Target for carrying Owala!

Disappointed in this one

I have a couple of Owala Freesip bottles and love the design. Wanted something for hot drinks, which the Freesip is not recommended for, so I got this. I would have preferred something smaller as I usually drink a small cup of coffee (8-10oz max) but this is the only size I've found. I made 2 cups of coffee to lay while I was out and check the warmth. I poured them in around 8:30 this morning and now at about 1:00 my coffee is just lukewarm. Was hoping for better given the price. Regarding the lid, it slides open to sip from and I discovered the hard way that when you close it back there's a little resistance just before it is fully shut - I got a little splash around the mouthpiece the first time I tried it, so I found I had to push it again. Functionality changes with longer use

I think this is a BEAUTIFUL cup! I love the color options and I appreciated that it had a straw. I received it as a Christmas gift (2023) and have been using it weekly since then. When I first received it, ice would still be present in the cup throughout my 8 hour work day. Now, I’m lucky if the ice doesn’t melt within 2 hours. I’ve adjusted the lid and straw seals in an attempt to fix this, but it didn’t help. I’m sure it’s a matter of the straw hole: as you remove and replace it, the hole widens. I would think it would be easier for the ice to melt due to this. It’s disappointing, because I love the cup, but it doesn’t serve the purpose I need it to anymore. Very very first world problems - but, for my lifestyle, I need a cup that keeps my ice as long as possible.

Gets rusty and Owala doesn't back their Products

I bought this tumbler 3 months ago. I bought this tumbler from this brand because of all of the great reviews. HOWEVER, the inside of the tumbler started to rust. There are small dots of rust near the top. I have submitted a claim through the manufacturer Owala, and was denied as it doesn't meet their warranty requirements. In there email, they state "Our stainless steel products are rust-resistant, however, surface rust may still form under certain conditions". That's just gross. All I have ever put in there was water. I have purchased other brands such as Yeti, Stanley, and Hydroflask, and none of those have developed any kind of rust and I have owned these products for years.

Love this brand!

Highly recommended! I have 3 different Owala And I love them all! I have the black pop top, mint green with the straw or sip option and the blue/purple pop top. They're all durable, easy to clean and they don't leak. I have dropped each of them at some point and they didn't mark or effect the exteriors at all. I don't own Stanley's, only Owala's ... I like the options and the variety!

Pick out yourself

As of now the cup itself is great, I’ll update if that changes. My problem is I ordered this with Target pickup and they gave me the cup with no straw. I contacted Owala to see if they’d send me a replacement. They said no bc it’s Target who has the issue. My advice would be to go into the store and pick it out yourself. This cup was meant to be a gift so it’s unfortunate to not have this completely intact.

This is thee ONE!

I am guilty of leaving all my adult sippy cups in the car or at work and this cup NEVER leaves my side! I have several YETI cups and for hot drinks they are still my go to. This one is perfect for cold drinks! The straw is the right size and texture. There is no fighting with the lid to pour liquids in. To my knowledge, there is no lead in the construction of the cup. If you are on the fence... get one!!!
