This is my second time using a nexgard oral tablet. Both times my German shepherd has had a negative reaction. Within hours after administering, he is agitated and extremely itchy with an accelerated heart rate. He also didn't want to eat the tablet and didn't like the taste. This product had the same effect when he was a puppy. I have just purchased this product after switching from a advocate liquid that is dispensed into the fur. I won't be buying it again.

Finally, does just about all and got it on sale so saved heaps. The only flea & tick that works and doesn’t make my dogs sick for a week, and now it works which is great, 2 out of 3 doggy’s eat it easily, 1st is a 43kg giant sooky-la but butter helps it go down. Being a chew is easy compared to the massive pellets/horse tablets of other varieties but again ONLY product that doesn’t make my dogs sick! Must have on the far south coast with bush, sand, fresh and salt water, a LOT of ticks which NONE of our dogs have had 🫶🏻

This is a great all-in-one monthly medicine to keep your dog healthy and free of dangers like ticks. It's an essential for us. Our dog hates the taste and I have to mince up the chew and mix it with a smelly cat food to make it appealing for her (and if I skimp on the cat food she will put herself to bed and refuse to eat it!).However, I just realised that the pack in the cupboard, which I thought was a six pack is actually a 3-pack. I checked my order history, because I've never ordered a 3-pack. I confirmed that I've never ordered a 3-pack. I've also never received two 3-packs in place of a six-pack. Apart from being essential, these meds are expensive! So just make sure they don't send you half the number you ordered. Yikes.

My dogs don't like the taste. I have to chop it up into quarters. One dog will then eat it wrapped in food, the other spits it out, so I administer each quarter like medication, followed by a treat.Vets recommend the product and my dogs are both healthy.
My dog will not touch it. Hidden in meat, chocolate, Christmas Cake, none work. The tablet will be found later in the middle of the floor. The same with my previous canine companion.
Great product. Acquired a new boxer 18 month old, He was quite thin so we gave him 25kg dose as soon as we brought him home, and low and behold he passed a massive tapeworm 2 weeks later. Phoned the vet to see if I needed to give him another, but they said I would have to use a specific worm tablet, which we did, but when I googled NexGard Spectra it did say it was effective for gastrointestine worms.The boxer is starting to put on weight now.
Great that Pet Circle has delivered Nexguard every time on time before dose is due . Nexguard is the only flea, tick , worm , and heartworm prevention treatment that one of my dogs does not have any reactions or side effects to ( shakes , spasms ) . My other dog does not ( better safe not sorry)- So I get the same for both of them + treat same day every 4 weeks. .
Thank you once again like always > on time just before my dogs are due for their next monthly dose ( given every 4 weeks on same day always as specified on delivery instructions > 12 weeks for 2 dogs > 6 pack )This product gives my dogs full protection and they don’t have side effects > like spasms , fits , temporary paralysis ( used to give my female dog a firm rub over her chest , neck and legs , back to get her blood flowing properly ) when she used to have bravecto and frontline and another brand as well . With Nexguard there has never been any sort of these problems since using it
Daily walk in bush, on property with wild life. Lost a dog 25 years ago to multiple ticks.I am very focused on protection . It works.A little tricky to feed but worth the hassle. Hide small pieces in dinner roll and supervise like a hawk.
My two dogs have this every month. One of them thinks it's a treat and the other needs it to be put done the back of mouth to get her to swallow it ( 1 chew cut in 6 pieces ). Nexguard is the only all in one prevention brand that one of my dogs has. NO effects to (spasms and shakes ). - my other dog has no issues? easier to use one brand.
