Using Nidecker Altai and Supermatic Bindings. Working great, feeling great, however after three trips out to the slopes, the boots are ripping. The tears are mostly at the bridge of the foot near the "laces". After ruining a brand new pair of Ride Lasso boots with the Supermatics, I returned them and purchased the Altai. The same problem is now occurring, even though I have taken extra steps to protect these boots by being gentle while stepping in. I have photos to send. We are in need of a replacement!

Boots for one season!1) very soft, do not match the declared hardness (is not 7/10) maximum stiffness= 5/10!!!2) very weak materials, threads, seams (The threads were torn, the seams came apart, the leather was frayed. see attached photos)3) Boots increased in size after 3 months of use once or twice a week (in small mountains 120 meters high)Тo summarize: not reliable, poor quality. The quality does not match the sports equipment. Mountains are places of increased danger and equipment must be of proper quality!!! A person’s life can depend on the quality of equipment!

I was a little reluctant ordering online and not trying on, but these are very comfortable and very supportive boots. I needed a boot that worked with the Supermatic bindings, as they tore my other boots apart. These are great so far, but I haven’t really put them to the test. All good so far!

Great boot, took a few hours to break in but now I can ride for hours in them. I am a ski/board patroller, and spend lots of time in them, I really enjoy them.They are easier to get in and out of than my old boots.
Great binding. Should highly recommend them to any ski patrol or instructor
Great boots. I have a wider foot. Straight out of the box these boots are comfortable. They match up perfectly with my supermatic bindings
Mentioned flex rate is mid stiff but is very stiff boots. Actually I am looking for the real mid-stiff boots using for teaching my lessons. But this is really not a mid-stiff.
True to size, forefoot area nice and roomy, go great with the Supermatic bindings, second pair of Nidecker boots I have owned and loving this model
Got mine today, and as already written, fits out of the box and super comfy, feels like walking on clouds. Next step is in the snow on coming weekend, and then supermatic, when its available in XL, maybe in a cool grey color ? thanks nidecker:-)
By the the most comfortable snowboard boots I have had right out of the box and after they were heat molded they were perfect. The response of the boot is also great with lots of options for adjustably.
