Nike is certainly a disappointment, a disappointment in many ways, but I'll save the politics. There's no longer a brick and mortar business where they'll allow you to try on their high end hiking boots and thus, you have to purchase them online just to see if they'll be a good fit, pun intended. These boots are not comfortable at all as compared to the companies lower end Air Monarchs tennis shoes. They actually make my ankles hurt when hiking on rough terrain. They are nowhere near as comfortable as a good pair of Keen's such as the Targhee II. After a few long hikes wearing the Nikes, I ended up putting back on my old worn out keens for my following treks in the blue ridge mountains and, in spite of the soles being in terrible shape, they still outperformed the ... MoreNike is certainly a disappointment, a disappointment in many ways, but I'll save the politics. Also, I'd suggest putting on your next pair of boots in a place where you can try before you buy. Good luck. S. Spencer in SC

Totally impressed. I just got home from Zion. These boots were awesome in the Narrows. The terrain was no problem. They were grippy while boulder hopping and comfortable when completely soaked. I bought a size 9.5, a half size smaller than my sneaker size. They fit just right, even with a pair of thick socks. They’ve got me looking forward to the next adventure.

Best boot this season!

These boots are straight 🔥! I have been obsessed with this silhouette since they debuted at the Winter Olympics. While this pair is slightly different they are more or less the same style. Nike crushed the shoe and boot combo here. They are extremely comfortable and keep my feet dry and warm in the elements. I would recommend sizing down a half or full size from your normal sneaker size. Can’t wait to see more colorways on this boot and continue to rock them this winter!

Expectations exceeded. Get a pair if you can!
11 July 2023

I was drawn in by the style. These boots are real lookers and I constantly receive compliments and questions about them. I bought them for work and my expectations were exceeded. I wear them with Thorlo socks and my feet are happy the entire day. I average around 20,000 steps during work hours. These boots have held up well. I read a few reviews that questioned or denied the waterproof capabilities. I live in Houston and have been caught out in a few torrential downpours, even walking across a flooded street. Dry socks every time. My only complaint? These boots eat laces. I go through a pair of laces every 3 weeks or so. I actually now carry spare laces with me for the first time in my life. Minor inconvenience compared to the positive things. Highly recommend. I’d ... MoreI was drawn in by the style. Great Boots
7 June 2023

these boots are amazing. i work in ems so i’m constantly on the hunt for good boots and these take the crown. they are light, comfortable and offer great ankle support. not afraid to get down and dirty thanks to the thick sole and waterproof material. i would definitely get these again.

Nice look - terrible quality
14 December 2022

They look nice and stylich in white.1) The size runs big. I have all my Nike shoes in US 8.5 - those ones were huge. Had to go with US 8.2) The quality is terrible. The first pair had the sole on one of the shoes not glued properly. There was a gap between sole parts. The second pair I've ordered had some dents on one of the shoes. Those dents won't improve over time. The sole rubber was all over the place - there were smudges and dents like someone touched the rubber while it was still hot. Can't advise buying those.

The Stylish, All-Weather Nike Boots I've Always Wanted
6 February 2023

These boots are fantastic and just what I've been looking for from Nike ACG for years - high tech with the Air Zoom and Gore-Tex, yet stylish, rugged, easy to put on and off (cannot say that about many boots). I use my brown pair for hiking and they have held up without a single issue through mud, rocks, rain and snow. I wear my black pair and white pair for every day all-weather wear and as kicks, and they are so comfortable and stylish. I have wide feet and these hold up all day with no issues. Gaiadomes should be an annual staple in the Nike ACG lineup like Goadomes, Manoas, etc.

Waterproof, breathable, durable, comfortable.
22 May 2023

Comfortable, durable, waterproof. Very rugged exterior and grippy sole. Waterproof lining almost to the top of the boot. Fully attached tongue. Roomy toe box and wide width for easy fit with extra socks for cold weather, and good lace system to adjust to warmer weather and thinner socks. Don't know why people are saying there aren't waterproof, I've hiked in the snow and rain, crossed rivers, they are truly ACG.

sick boots
11 January 2023

Finally found the stylish, all weather boots I wanted to invest in, these do not disappoint. Cant wait to stomp around in the snow with them, stay dry in the rain this coming spring and hike in the summer. Initially feel a little stiff/tight but I hope that they just need to be broken in. Usually order a W 7 in sneakers, but got a 6.5 because other reviews said they run big, but they feel snug with thick socks imo, so wish I wasn't swayed and got my normal size
