Due to the fact that the laces of these sneakers are electric, StockX did not conduct a thorough inspection to ensure that they were functioning properly. When I received the sneakers, one of the batteries had already run out, but fortunately, it was able to function normally after being charged. If the battery had been damaged and could not be charged, the potential consequences could be unimaginable since StockX neglected to check for this issue before selling the sneakers.

Was so excited to grab this colorway on Oct 21 didn't realize it but that date is significant. Oct 21 1986 was when Marty went back home from the future in Back to the Future 2. That was cool we had the opportunity to grab a piece of childhood nostalgia for some of us. Good job NIKE!! The fact that Nike allowed footsites, especially Finishline, to release the closest we'll ever get to owning an actual pair of Nike Air Mags. But I'll take em!I love the snug fit of the shoe. After warring them for awhile I will try to play with these on the hardwood. But I love the self adjustment to your foot once you slip them on after setting up the app on your iPhone. I just want to know how they'll stand up after a few months of playing once we get back to hooping again. So happy I got these. Say what you want. Some may not like them and some may like them. But for those who want nice support and grip on the floor they feel like they would do the job. I recommend going .5 size up if your like me with a slightly wider foot and I wear Stance Basketball socks. If i went with my true to size 10.5 it definitely would have been too tight especially when laced for playing ball. Typically you don't want the toe box to be right at your toe when playing ball. As most of you know over time it can do damage to your big toe or pinky toe. Finishline, so happy I got through to purchase!!

Epic shoe! Absolutely epic!

Epic to say the least, these shoes are even lighter than I expected too. I thought with the self lacing motor they would be very heavy, but they aren’t as weighted as I thought they would be! They fit good, battery life is insanely amazing, I’ve been wearing them for 2 weeks on and off. (Rotate my sneakers a lot) but the battery life is amazing I’ve only charged them the one time when I Unboxed them. They still have about 80% battery! Awesome sneaker go get yourself a pair if you haven’t yet!

Fully Functional. Nicely done, Nike!
20 December 2022

Very nice fit, the lacing system is very nice, people think it's a gimmick it's not just a gimmick it really works and very nicely. It is easy to control via the Nike Adapt app and easily adjustable for comfort. Im 6'6, 295lbs (used to be athletic =)) These are very well built, classy and sporty and fully functional.

I Love the Shoe but.....
9 November 2020

I purchased my shoes in early August 2020 ..After only 2 months of casual use the left shoe was no longer responding. I contacted Nike twice before receiving an email on how to reset/reboot my shoe. This has not worked and I've gotten no response after letting them know. The shoes still get a 5 from me due to their unique design, concept, fit, comfort, everything .. When I first ordered them I doubted spending $300+ thinking it might not be worth it. The shoes are definitely worth it but I don't know that about my overall experience with Nike..I'd like to wear my shoes again it's been a month.. What's up Nike?

I'm torn
12 January 2021

I'll be the first to say it, who approved this shoe Nike? They're tight, bulky, and heavy AF! I went up a half size based on the comments, but would say go up a whole size for comfort. Of course then they'd be spaceships, I guess that's all the mechanics inside. I haven't worn them but hopefully they will loosen up, they're very uncomfortable from the jump. You don't even need to use the auto lace feature. I can't imagine wearing these even for a few hours let alone playing ball in them. I do love the colors and design, it's a very cool shoe, I just feel like I squeezed my feet into bricks.

Innovative and Life Changing for some!
22 March 2020

I am sincerely hoping you will start offering these sneakers in smaller sizes. My son has Autism and is in middle school. If I could buy these in a size 6, it would greatly reduce his daily stress as well help him to better fit in and not be teased. As a mom of a child with Autism, I know we would invest in these sneakers to provide a little bit of ease in their world. April is Autism awareness month. This would be a great tribute to kids everywhere!! I did buy the size 7 but had to return them as they are too big for him.

Most uncomfortable shoe I've ever worn
18 November 2020

Title pretty much sums it up. I thought my current pair of shoes were uncomfortable until I wore these and those now feel like fluffy clouds compared to these. Foot was difficult to get into the shoe and the fit was tight all around. The plastic thing in the back makes it feel like you fit your foot into a plastic foot brace. The shoe is purposely tight to make it seem like the lacing does something.

THESE ARE AWESOME
24 February 2020

I really have always wanted the Adapts but when I tried on the first version, they were uncomfortable. But now when I tried these ones on, they were SO MUCH BETTER. They are more comfortable, more durable, and just better in every way. Even though they are heavier, they feel so much better. I tried. I love the fact that they can be connected to your phone and change color as well as how you can make it adjust to your feet. Thank you so much Nike for these awesome shoes.

These sneakers epitomise the nexus of mechatronics to control ergonomics. The self-adjusting mechanisms and manual control tweaking via an app have honestly put Nikes best foot forward in sneaker development. Nike should implement the Adapt technology into many more sneakers. The ease of lacing up, cushioning with custom air, and personalisation of lights make these the ultimate 21st century sneaker, born out of the good old 1980s when nothing was too big of an idea.
