Foamposite technology debuted in 1997 and was a deviation from the typical leather and nubuck uppers of its time. The synthetic material offers padding and structure for a stable stride on the court and combines with a form-fitting inner bootie for a snug fit. A patriotic take on the original, the shoe flaunts a red medial panel on the left shoe and blue on the right to celebrate Independence Day.
