There are just some silhouettes in the sneaker game that don‘t need any introductory words anymore - because they are already known all over the globe and survived every single short-lived sneaker trend. The Nike Air Force 1 can undoubtedly be ranked among those timeless models that can be easily referred to as »sneaker icons«. Although the word »iconic« is nowadays casually applied to almost everything from funny youtube clips to delicious smoothie bowls, an »icon« is still by formal definition a »person or a object that is very successful and admired« or »a widely known symbol«. Well, there‘s one thing for sure: If there‘s even one sneaker that deserved to carry the titel »icon« then it would probably be the Nike Air Force 1. Debuted in 1982 as the first basketball shoe with the Nike Air technology the AF1 first gained popularity on the court as a functional high-cut-silhouette and was later on celebrated as a dope low-cut-version in the gobal Hip Hop scene. Ever since the classical AF1 silhouette served as a basis for several artistical designs and famous collaborations. During the decades, the AF1's timeless design has undergone subtle updates to reflect the current moment, without sacrificing its distinct DNA. In its mutability the Nike Air Force 1 has become a global street culture standard and lived up to its title as an »icon« by all means. This new Nike Air Force 1 ’07 comes in a clean look. The beige leather upper is highlighted by the white Swoosh and outsole.

An iconic staple that should be in your wardrobe

These shoes are so pretty! Which is why I fell in love with them and bought my kids each a pair. But to my surprise, my son pair came dirty! Their is hair on the shoes, a brown
stain, even the bottom of the shoes has dirt on them, not to mention… the shoe string is dirty as well! How was someone able to return these shoes and for the workers to not
conduct a proper inspection before selling them again is beyond me! To make matters worse my son shoe size is not available in stores which means it’ll take over a week
plus just to get a replacement pair. I’m starting to think it’s best to shop in store or pickup in store so you can inspect your purchase beforehand. I did speak with ... Show more

The Nike Air Force 1 has consistently retailed for $90. Additionally, Nike offers a 10% discount for university students which made this shoe fairly affordable. Over the years, this shoe has held up fairly well against the different seasons; notably Minnesota winters. Often people are concerned with wearing all white shoes as they tend to get dirtier quicker; however, the body of this shoe is made of leather. This causes the shoe to not be susceptible to stains and a lot easier to clean. The shoes will still yield creasing over time with wear, yet this is unavoidable with any shoe made of leather. This sneaker also remains comfortable after longs days of walking to and from classes as well as for work shifts reaching up to six hours. Whether you have narrow or wide feet this shoe will form to your particular foot size. Having flat feet, I need a shoe that offers extra arch support. The air force 1 offers just that with a sturdy sole that can support any foot width.ChinaOver the summer I opted to bring my air force ones as one of the two pairs of shoes for an eight week trip to China. Firstly, I chose these shoes for their versatility with my wardrobe. Since the air force 1’s are white they are quite neutral and can, therefore, be paired with any colored clothes you want. I also chose these sneakers because I anticipated that I’d be doing a lot of walking in China as well as occasionally playing basketball. The air forces worked just fine traveling within the city but lacked enough grip for anything more involved than that. Additionally, after repeated use of these shoes for basketball, the air bubble in the sole popped. Due to the air force’s performance in China, I would recommend you to not purchase these shoes for intense physical activities.Overall these shoes are ideal for you if you enjoy an iconic sneaker and want something that you can rely on. Although they lack capability in more physical activities, these kicks will be on your feet for practically anything else. Even in spite of my pair breaking down, I will continue to purchase this shoe and I would encourage you to do the same.... Show more

I did speak with customer service and he was very helpful but just the hassle of returning them then having to wait a long time again is sad. Also for future reference… these shoes ( the royal blue and white) runs extremely big! I order a 10.5 ( half size down from his original size) and their still a little room in the back of the shoe, which means I could have went a full size down. Despite these shoes coming dirty, I’ll still recommend this product, just hope you have a better pair than what my child received.... Show more

Check sizing
19 September 2023
I bought these a month ago. This is my second pair of Air Force 1 trainers bought from this site, I am normally a size 5.5 and the previous ones fit perfectly with a little room. I also bought a pair from local well known sports shop same size and they fitted perfectly as well, but for some reason these did not. Very unusual. I specifically wanted the black and white ones and wax very disappointed when I tried them on finding these more like a size 5 than a 5.5. All three pairs were purchased within two months. Don’t understand why these didn’t fit.... Show more

Comfortable and solid shoe for an active teenager
16 April 2024
I’ve bought my son many well made running shoes but they just are not meant for the lifestyle of an active teenager. He blows out the sides. These are a great all around shoe and are durable. They are leather so they do not breathe as well as ventilated running shoes so I put these small moisture and smell absorbing bags in each shoe to help at the end of the day.... Show more

Great shoes, bad store
6 August 2024
We found these on a clearance table at the St. John’s Florida location. I thought perfect match since I have the women’s version for myself. The St. John’s store was unable to price match because they said it wasn’t an available item. However dicks always has a best price guarantee. We ended up going to the river city Florida location and they price matched the shoes for us with no issues.... Show more

Quality just isn’t the same anymore
5 October 2024
I hate that I have to write this because AF1 are my all time favorite silhouette but the quality is just horrible now. Pre 2020 1 pair worn ~5 days a week would last a minimum of 2 years but recent pairs get holes in the sole within 6 months, my most recent pair got a hole in 3 months. The tread also wears out super fast and the creasing gets bad so quickly now. It’s not worth it anymore to keep buying them if they’re going to be ruined so fast. It’s forcing me to look to other brands with better quality.... Show more

Roomy shoe, size at least a half down, comfortable
9 September 2023
These are really are comfortable. The only thing about them to keep in mind, is the fit. Heel slippage is very normal and extra toe room is noticeable. I wear a 9.5 in air max pluses, air max 90s, and most nike running shoes. I did a half size down in these to a size 9, and still experience some heel slippage even after a week of wearing. I believe they will break in more and the heel slippage will subside a bit more, I wear them fully laced and tied , they are very comfortable even with the extra room in the front toe box and heel slightly slipping. My foot still stays in the shoe securely, and they are comfortable. Most people I have spoken with state that the heel slippage and extra room in the toe box, even sizing down is very normal. Tough to wear at first
24 June 2024
When I first saw these I was in grade school 1989. They were 60.00 then. Fast forward over 35 years nothing has changed except the price doubled. I have a white pair and at first they feel like a box. It does take quite a while to break in. Of coarse I have flat feet. Even worse. I have to put inserts in them. Most likely I will never buy again. I will stick with monarchs or other Nike airs... Show more
