They add an inch or so to my height which is a plus! These also wash well in a washing machine, making it an easy cleaning process. I would say overall, with this new design, there is an improved comfort I felt when wearing them. My only complaint, is I feel like sizing runs a little big in my opinion. Due to this, I wasn't able to really get a good grip on fit and feel while walking/exercising since mine were about a half size too big. I did also develop a blister on the back of one ankle after a couple mile walk around my neighborhood. I doubt this would have happened, if they were the correct size, as I've never had this happen with any previous pairs I've owned. I typically wear an 8-8.5 in Nike Air Force 1s depending on fit, so I went with the 8.5 this time and it was a little too big. So, if you are like me, and can wear one or two sizes depending on fit, I'd highly recommend going into a store and trying them on before buying. Another thought, if you like them a little big, be sure to wear high socks, which should help to prevent blisters. My husband also liked the look and feel of these shoes, so I think Nike could've marketed these as unisex, rather than only as a woman's shoe. Regardless, this doesn't detract from the shoe itself, just wanted to point that out since men may be interested in these as well.Overall, I think the design and new features Nike has added to this shoe are definitely an upgrade in comfort, ventilation, and sustainability! Iām one of the least fashionable people and Iām obsessed with these shoes! Not a knock on the shoes, theyāre just awesome. Theyāre perfectly ā90s back in style.ā When I look in a full length mirror, I swear they make me look fitter and perkier. Theyāre super comfy and flattering. I love to wear them with leggings and oversized t-shirts... and especially to the airport because they give off travel fashion vibes. The ankle support is a little weird so I wouldnāt hike in them or anything, but Iāve worn them all day multiple times and my feet and legs are happy by the end of the day. 11/10 recommend.
These shoes are super light weight, with makes sense, since they are made out of foam. I like their fun speckled soles, but didnāt care for the rest of the shoe. I have big feet (I wear a 9.5 in womenās) and the all over white design made me feel like I was wearing nurse shoes (nothing against nurses, of course). I just fell like they made my feet look even larger than they actually are. They are also a bit stiff, which made it a little uncomfortable to wear for too long-but I assume they would break in with wear.These did run about half a size large for me, and seeing them in smaller sizes, they look really cute. Unfortunately, they are not for me.
I read the reviews before buying my shoe. Everyone claimed that the shoe was too big. I am usually an 8.5, so I ordered an 8. The size 8 shoe is about half a size too big (recommend going down a whole size). However, be careful because the shoe is narrow. Which makes up for it a bit by making it more fitting. Yes, the sizing is tricky to navigate, but I love this shoe! It is comfy and stylish. I wear them all the time now. I was concerned about the durability, but they have withstood a lot. I 100% recommend purchasing this shoe while it is still in stock!!
