Nike Air Huarache launched in 1991 and was designed by legendary designer Tinker Hatfield. The Huarache is inspired by a form of sandal with the same name that was commonly used by native populations in the USA. The Air Huarache has spawned a wide variety of different models with the same name, such as the Air Flight Huarache and Huarache Light. The common denominator for all Huaraches is their tight fit, supreme comfort and relatively small sizing.
