My son liked these and he said they’re comfortable to his feet. He did say they should’ve had a little color to them, like in the threading because it’s a little hard to see the Nike symbol. They’re easy for him to put on and they seem durable enough to last through him playing at school this entire year.

Let's face it – kids can be tough on their shoes. Whether it's recess adventures or a pick up game of tag with the neighbors, the Nike Air Max 1 (GS) stands up to the challenge. These shoes seem to have high-quality materials and solid construction, making them a durable choice for active kids. They run true to size and are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. My daughter has never complained about sore feet since switching to these sneakers! They look like they would be heavy and clunky but are surprisingly quite light. Solid sneaker!

We got these shoes for my son as he needed them for a band performance in January. He's loves the look and comfort it them and has been wearing them around the house - we won't let him wear them to school yet, as we know they'll get trashed prior to the band performance. However, once the performance is over, these will be his daily shoe.The school requires all black shoes, so we got the triple black ones, but we plan on painting the swoosh to add a little color once these are his daily pair

I got these shoes for my son and he loves them. They are very versatile. You can dress them down or up. My son is 13 and the 6.5 fit good. Not tight but gives him room to grow into. He has worn them practically everyday since we got them, and loves them. They give an old school Nike feel but still stylish. Shoe is comfortable inside. Not hard at all considering they have a little bit of height. Outside materials are smooth and very sleek looking. Overall I would recommend these. Very nice boys shoe.

When I saw the Air Max 1s in all black, I was so happy to get them for my 8yo son. This classic style is my absolute favorite and I was hoping he’d love them as much as I do. His first time putting them on, he complained that they were tight (laces just needed to be loosened) but within 5 minutes, he didn’t want to take them off! He loves that they go with everything and that they’re soft and cushioned. His toe box had plenty of room. Love their versatility - goes well with sweats and also dressed up a bit with jeans and a nice top. Definitely get these!

These shoes were for my very active 8 year old daughter. Although these shoes come in different colors, black was my preferred color. She is very picky about her shoes being that her foot is a bit flat. This shoe however was the perfect fit in regards to width. She has not once complained about the shoe being too tight. The shoe is a bit roomy so I would say that it runs a bit big. However if you are okay with your child being able to grow into the shoe, this one is a keeper. When she wears these shoes she is able to be active and move around the entire without complaining that her feet hurt. The shoe is very comfortable. It’s classic and comfortable. I also like that this shoe is made in adult sizes as well. I like to match with my child sometimes.

I love the air max 1 (gs) the soft feel of the outside material is great from the design to the mesh part of the shoe. The cushion inside is very comfortable I think for leisure wear or running. The fit was tight as I didn’t receive the correct size, which is the only thing I would change. This shoe would however pair with a cute jersey dress for summer, jeans or joggers. Sleek all black color and design of the shoe would go great with a casual outfit as well.
