In 1987 Tinker Hatfield presented his pride and joy for the first time - the visible Air Unit in the Air Max 1. Only a few years later followed the Air Max 90, whose Air Unit was not only much larger than that of the 1 Air Max, but was also highlighted by color accents. The AM90 is an absolute legend among Nike's Air series and has been for more than 30 years! For Nike and also for us reason enough to celebrate this anniversary properly! Technically speaking, the Air Max 90 already corresponded to a completely different league back then. Created as a performance running shoe, the AM90 was created with a new midsole made of two separate parts. This made the sneaker even more comfortable and also guaranteed greater durability. The sneaker is complemented by the iconic waffle sole, stitched overlays and classic TPU elements. Hatfield also provided the 90 with his trademark: The cut Nike »Swoosh«. The Nike Air Max 90 SE »Deep Royal« comes in a soft dark blue upper made of textile and leather with red details like the Nike brandings on the sides and the Nike lettering on the heel cap.
