The Nike Air Max 97 Newspaper is a variation of the Air Max 97 sneakers that are appearing under Nike’s brand of sneakers. The Newspaper Nike Air Max 97 features stitched panels on the lateral sides for reinforcement of the shoe’s upper constructions, pull tabs on the tongue that also features a Black tongue tag, and also on the heel. The Black color scheme is vividly visible on the sneaker’s shoe liner and on the ridged outsole. A White-dressed Swoosh appears on the sides, while the White rubber midsole has translucent Nike Air Max units to provide comfort and support by optimizing energy return. The sneaker first appeared on the market on 16th September 2019 with a suggested retail price of $160.
