Part of the Nike: On Air collection, which gave people from around the world a chance to create a shoe based on their hometowns, the Air Max 97 On Air: Shanghai Kaleidoscope was designed by Shanghais Cash Ru. The shoes synthetic translucent upper is finished in Ice Blue, with multiple white heel pull-tabs modeled after the floating clouds across the citys sky. Red on the branding adds contrast, while underfoot, the white tooling includes a full-length Max Air unit for cushioning.
