Cheapest Air Maxes now my favorite Air Maxes.
I've been collecting Air Maxes for over 25 years and I have everyone you can imagine and all of them in multiple colors. Having recently bought Air Max Flyknit vapormaxes as well as Air Max vapormax pluses, I have no problem in saying that these sneakers at less than half the price are my new favorites. I just ordered two more colors. They're styling is so perfect, so vintage, so retro. But the shoes are so unimaginably comfortable and lightweight I think a few hundred pairs of my sneakers are going to start feeling jealous over the next few weeks. I absolutely recommend these to anyone and don't let the cheap price fool you. I spend over $200 on a pair of sneakers all the time, but these are the first in a while that just plain made me happy and smile.... Show more

comfortable but looks low quality
First off, despite my title I do like these shoes. They look great on and feel great. My only complaint is for the price, even on sale.. the shoe itself felt cheap, very light despite looking heavy, similar to Walmart sneakers that lack structure and have foam feeling soles. On one of my shoes, the foam is starting to break from the seal. The glue job looks sloppy. The soles look cheap and are not one whole sole, it's 2 pieces. Which is weird. I really hope they don't fall apart after a while. The toe is more rounded than narrow. The body of the shoe is a soft flexible, material with a felt material accent. They stopped making Cortez style, so this is as close as I can get to the look. I sized up a half size to allow room for swelling/socks but I would say they run ... comfy!
I purchased the pink version of these sneakers from the sale. It’s been a long time since I’ve owned Nike sneakers, so I don’t have anything to compare these to. When I first took them out of the box, I thought wow these are lightweight, but the material feel (and maybe something else) didn’t feel like it matched the price. But that was just how I felt until I saw other recent reviews from the sale, and seems my suspicions were correct. So disappointed. Still debating whether to keep these or not as they are comfy and quality is decent enough. But no idea how they’ll hold up unless I wear it out and put it in action. The sale price makes it the sneakers seem more accessible, but just decide for yourself if you’re willing to sacrifice quality for a more affordable ... I got size 7.5 which is my true size and fits well, but I do have wider feet and wished I had sized up to an 8 to account for sweaty/hot weather feet.... Show more

Comfy but does not last
Really wanted to love these sneakers, but am very disappointed. Purchased a pair for my teenage son and he loved them so much that I bought 3 more in different colors. It’s only been several months but he has already worn through two pairs. There are holes and rips at the front of the shoes, while the rest are intact. Definitely can’t recommend this style.... Description is a total lie - ALL synthetic
Not only does the description say, “Soft suede couples with breathable mesh…”, it also lists the material as, “Leather, synthetic and textile upper/synthetic and textile lining/rubber and synthetic sole.”Not one spot on this shoe has leather or suede, and the ENTIRE shoe is a cheap synthetic fabric. This is a super light, extremely cheaply-made shoe. The “suede” is actually thick felt. If it didn’t have the Nike swoosh, they would sell for $19.99 and the company would still be making a $15 profit per pair.... Show more

Look cheap up close. Let down
On screen they looked class and felt comfortable but that’s it on the positives. The finish is shocking. Bits of glue showing. Creases round the trim. The finish between base and fabric looks pathetic. Not like the quality I expect from Nike runners. It’s as if they got made by a dodgy merchant. Before purchasing, do have a look at the photos I’ve added.... Show more

Poor quality and an overall big shoe
I originally ordered my typical size 8.5. They were too small. I then ordered a size 9 and they are too big. Also, the overall shoe is just huge compared to my current Nike running shoes. The shoe also looks really cheap. The different pieces in the shoe are not the same color of black.... Show more

Solid shoe, solid price
Solid shoe, solid price for a comfortable shoe. Underrated air max with great colorways. Prone to picking-up debris, sensitive to scuffing. Trust me, this issue didn't deter me from snagging three different colors due to absurd value for money through finishline's offerings.... Show more
