I already have a pair of older Air Max in black so I went ahead and ordered a pair in white online and took advantage of the curbside pickup. Since air max sneakers tend to run a bit narrow I went up a size bigger. I have gotten compliments from friends and strangers on my Air Max Excees and I just love them! When funds allow me, I may purchase another pair.

The shoe that was shipped had been worn as the soles were dirty. The staff were very helpful and we got the pair of shoes we were expecting. The shoe is a good versatile, durable athletic shoe for a teenage boy.
Bought this shoe for mostly walking and daily wear, reason i purchased is that it one of the Air Max series that looks like a running shoe and is retro looking to some of the air max shoes i had in the '90s. Worn initially my impressions where that they fit tight in the toe box, were a bit stiff and rode high in the heel due to an elevated cushion and support in that part of the shoe....the shoe has since broken in and fits true to Nike shoe sizes of other shoes i have worn...I am a size 9 and it fit like a 9. took some time for me to adjust and break in, but now i love them and the look. I would recommend to anyone for light running (lo mileage) for walking/hiking and comfortable daily wear.

This shoe like all shoes in the Air Max line, is really comfortable. Every shoe in the Air Max line has a pocket of air which is usually visible through a window in the sole of the heel area. Anyways, the Nike Air Max sneakers are always comfortable, dare I say it, because it's like walking on air! It's like you've got a little pocket of a cloud cushioning the heel of your foot and I just never get as tired or fatigued wearing shoes in this line, as I do with other shoes. Do get your true size in the Excee though, because these run true to size and can be a little tight if you go smaller than normal.
I purchased these shoes for my fiancé through the website because they were sold out in the store. He weras a size 12 and had never had an issue with the width of any Nike shoes he has ever had before, but these were too narrow. It sucks, also because they aren't offered in a wider width. Returned and got a different pair, almost exactly like these & they fit fine. As far as Academy, this has nothing to do with you. Shipping was quick & we received them in 2 days.
