For the few miles I’ve put on them, they’re pretty comfortable, and I would say the thinner fabric on top of the shoe does allow for better venting, in my opinion. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve found that my feet don’t regulate/circulate really well (so I’m either freezing in the winter or burning up in the summer, not sure if you can relate, but that’s what I’m dealing with :) ). However, these have thinner mesh-like material on top and I like that. Again, I think I would recommend these, but as with any pair of shoes, you’re not really sure if they’re going to work just by the looks. The comfort test is passed in my book, and that’s one of if not the key feature I need in an outdoor shoe. Finally, durability is really TBD. I’d expect, given the construction, for these to have above average ability to hold up. Looking forward to putting more miles on them.

Whatever it is, it makes putting on the shoe a bit of an awkward experience.Fit-wise, these were perfect. I'm typically an 8.5 (mens) size in everything and get disappointed when certain shoes aren't true to size. These however were perfect for me.Overall I would recommend this shoe to anyone looking for an all-around pair to use at the gym or for running errands around town. More cool innovation from Nike.

I especially like the font to the embroidery and the heel loop. The shoe looked great with shorts, jean, sweats or whatever you wanted to wear. I wore the shoes all day and never felt that my feet were getting tired or worn out which I think is due to all the cushion that they have especially on the heels.Honestly my favorite part of the shoes is the design. Specifically the use of all the different textures and materials. Even the laces feel and look very authentic and high quality. I felt like I was wearing a luxury shoe.The only thing I can even think about changing up is how soft and malleable the tongue of the shoe was. I did have to loosen the laces and adjust the tongue once or twice when it was in an uncomfortable position. I think a stiffer tongue on the shoe might help mitigate that a little, but to be honest it happens with almost every shoe I have so very much not concerning to me.All in all this is an incredibly comfortable, good looking and high quality shoe! Would definitely recommend to a friend 10/10. I think for the look that a lot of us are going for these days, the retro style and feel of these Air Max Pre Days are a perfect fit! Go get some!

I am astonished by the glowing reviews. Aside from the fashionable appearance, this shoe suffers greatly from skimpy poor construction. Unfinished tongue with exposed foam; lace mounts that are not sewn; and a thin bottom sole that will never withstand any rigorous use. They are comfortable, but so are my bedroom slippers. They're going back as spoon as I can get a return label together. Come on, Nike! Quality AND Fashion are thing you should take pride in. I'm greatly disappointed.

Love the colour combination of these shoes and they are very light and springy to wear for work, but my one gripe is the end of the tongue which comes out under the laces. This is not sewn shut and ends in the foam it is made of showing which I think will discolour and tear over time. You can see this in some of the product images which makes it a design defect and not a manufacturing mistake.Also I think the laces should have been yellow to go with the colour scheme of the shoe instead of white but this is just my opinion and can be remedied by finding some laces of this particular hue and swapping them over.All over, I am far happier with these than unhappy. Good purchase.

They look sort of strange in that the front of the shoe tries to go for that vintage old-school Nike sneaker look, but then the heel has a hollowed-out gel like cushion feature. It’s supposedly there to make the shoe more comfortable to walk and run in, but it makes the overall look of the shoe seem off because it distracts from the vintage vibe. Nice shoes, comfy with a sweet colour set. My only prob is the end of the tongue (where it comes out under the laces): Perhaps this is a feature of the shoe itself but the tongue-end is raw AF instead of being sown shut as it just ends showing the raw foam it is made of. This will get blackened, raw and ripped over time, will it not? I checked the promo shots; if you look closely, you will see this in one of the shots, so this is not a manufacturing fault (although it might be a design fault). This is the one peccadillo I find with these kicks, otherwise we are sweet.Also, I think the laces could have been yellow to suit the main shoe colour-scheme but this is only my opinion here and is remediable if I can find the same laces as the hue. 💛

These shoes are a winner. As soon as I put them on and felt the cushion of the heel I knew I could wear them all day. I had an Achilles Tendon injury a year ago and the tab on the back is soft and not too rigid like other styles or models. I have worn them all day and were very comfortable even after walking at the zoo.The length is good, but I probably could have sized down half of a size. I have wide feet and thought they would be narrow but they ended up fitting well. They seem slimming for my feet.My favorite part of the design is the font of the "Nike" name on the tounge and heel. White is a bit hard for me to keep clean so I would prefer black on black but I like the colors still. They look nice enough for errands and church and my wife approves so they ... If I were to sum up what I think about these shoes, I would say they are sturdy. I like that the heel in the back curves up as my shoes tend to wear on the back heel. I like the near bounce that you get from the see through support in the heel.The things that would give it a full five stars: despite the show being very sturdy, the tongue is rather flimsy. When I first started wearing them, the tongue in the left shoe was almost cutting off the blood flow to my foot. I still have to make sure the tongue isn’t folded over when I put my feet in. The retro styling is subtle but appreciated, from the lower case cursive "nike" on the back, to the black on black portions dominating the shoe.The air max cushion in the heel is clearly on display and offers a noticeable lift when walking.I would not think of this shoe as anything besides a daily walker, as my heel is sliding too much to be considered a good training or running shoe.
