Air Max EWT - A Treat For Your Feet

It felt fine the next day, so maybe something that a different pair of socks also help adjusted. I'm also a huge fan of the casual yet sporty look, so I really enjoyed rocking these with sweatpants and a hoody on a casual day, but also paired right with khakis and a tee. The white material was also easy to clean off the light dust after a full days wear, even just using a baby wipe or damp paper towel. Overall, my experience with the Air Max EWT has been delightful and I would recommend it to anyone!... Show more

I like to keep my shoes clean, but with so many materials, I had to use multiple cleaning methods to keep them looking their best. This is the only reason the shoe is not my daily go-to. The comfort and support provided by the Nike Air Max EWT are second-to-none. I would definitely but these in other colours that are less prone to showing stains.... Show more

That subtle spring in your step allows you to go that little bit further… That little bit faster, and ensures you are stylish while doing so.As a curvy, 5ft 11 girl, I do have larger and wider feet and often struggle to find trainers that accommodate my type of feet, but Nike has finally provided a comfortable, supportive and strong trainer that fits a wider foot, and that inclusivity feels just as amazing as making steps in the Air Max Pulse.I would say the trainer runs slightly large as I am usually a size 10 (to accommodate the width of my feet) but a size 9 in the Air Max Pulse fits perfectly. As I am disabled and suffer from arthritis and chronic joint pain, I have to be meticulous in choosing comfy trainers that don’t cause my feet to cramp or ache and I was over the moon when I slipped my feet into the Air Max Pulse as it felt like sliding my feet into a dream. Subsequently, they’ve now become my first choice trainer when walking the dog or exercising and I’ve barely taken them off since! The one improvement I do believe that would take these trainers to the next level however, is a small tag on the shoe that would allow people who have disabilities or difficulties with their hands to easily slip the shoe on. Otherwise, I’m so pleased with the Nike Air Max Pulse and believe them to be an excellently crafted and technologically thought out trainer that can accommodate many different types of foot. I absolutely recommend.... Show more

Didn't live up to my expectations/hype
29 April 2024
I recently got a pair of Nike Air Max. I have always wanted a pair because of the cool aesthetic and popularity of the shoe. When I got them I was hyped on the looks. The shoe has a fresh, clean look with great color combo or black, gray, and red swoosh. The fabric looks and is lightweight. Has a snug but form fitting feel to the shoe. These looked like they were going to be turning heads while wearing them. Then I put them on...Unfortunately, the hype faded quickly. The shoe was extremely stiff in the heel and mid-sole. So stiff that when I would walk in them I would go heel-to-flat-foot stomp in one motion. At first I thought it was just a new shoe needing to be broken in. But then more I wore the shoe, I found that logic to be broken. It just wouldn't flex. ... MoreI recently got a pair of Nike Air Max. Not sure if maybe I had a defunct pair or this is what all Air Max shoes feel like but definitely didn't meet my hype. The shoes could be cool if you plan to do very little walking. All that said, the positives are:The shoe looks awesome,The shoe has a great fabric that is snug, form fitting making it feel like it's one with your foot without feeling cramped or squished,The shoe fit true to size. The negatives:No flex in the mid-sole makes for a terrible feel when walking,Shoe is so stiff that it's not worth recommending to any unless they were just going to stand in one spot with them on. And even then, it would be better to sit because of the stiffness in the heel.... Show more

High Voltage, High Comfort

The new Nike Air Max Pulse is a new iteration of Nike's 'air bubble' sneakers they are infamous for. The Pulse takes inspiration from its predecessors and brings a fresh modern design and an updated silhouette while staying true to the culture surrounding its history with high comfort and high bounce.Nike boasts that the Air Max pulse has taken inspiration from the London music scene, which is known for its electric and deep-rooted history; this translates into bold accent colours, swooping layered designs and accent bar tack details that look cool but also bring a sense of durability for an otherwise light shoe.My favourite of the current selection is the High Voltage colourway, it is incredibly versatile and works well with a large array of outfit combinations ... MoreThe new Nike Air Max Pulse is a new iteration of Nike's 'air bubble' sneakers they are infamous for. The High Voltage colour way features a rich pomegranate red that contrasts well against the mix of cool and warm whites that wrap around the shoe. The design features various textures and materials in the build that all synergise well and look cool. The Air Max Pulse features smooth rubber, soft leather overlays, and textured fabrics on top of a soft breathable mesh base that allows freedom of movement and comfort for many hours. One thing that I do not like is the textile-wrapped heel section between the heel and air bubble as I live somewhere where it is typically raining, this textile area is prone to getting dirty quicker than the rubber and leather sections surrounding it and harder to clean too as you cannot wipe it down fully clean. The shoes run true to size, they offer removable insoles and a reinforced heel. The long laces allow ease of tying with ample string to work with. The 'bubble' wraps around the heel which stretches down to the midsole for a wider bouncier stride, the heel tapers out which gives great comfort and stability when standing and walking. The shoes are light and comfortable with standard everyday lightweight crew socks - and if you opt for thicker cushioned socks you'll get a snugger fit.One thing that may be a deal breaker for some people could be the thickness of the foam that tapers into the toe box, which can feel like your feet are standing at a downward angle than level against the floor. Personally, I like this design as it promotes more comfortable walking. When getting these shoes I was mindful of how they would fair where I live because in Scotland the cities are quite hilly and you can experience all four seasons in a single day. However I am very happy with the build of these sneakers, they are fantastic for whatever chores or events you wear them to. I've put these shoes to the test for I have spent a whole day commuting in these and completing errands, I have walked up and down big cities and even seen my favourite music artist live where I stood for long periods in line, danced my heart out in an open-air stadium with torrential rain, and walked back to my car to drive home and these sneakers provided much welcomed extra support and comfort with only tenderness in my feet after they were put through the wringer. No blisters and redness are an A++ for me.All in all, I recommend these sneakers, they are a fundamental design upgrade to the Air Max family while also expanding in a new modern design that I am personally drawn to. The sneakers are sleek, incredibly comfortable and work well with almost any outfit making them fantastic daily shoes. The build product is apparent and made well and I welcome newer iterations developed from this design. If you're familiar with the Air Max range or want to try out what makes these sneakers so popular, you will not go wrong with the Air Max Pulse.... Show more

As an outgoing and busy family, it’s always important that I have a shoe that is easy to get on, flexible, durable, and breathable. All of these things were met with this shoe. This air max fit very well and had enough room in the shoe to wear a true to size. Not uncomfortable pertaining to the tightness but I did feel like the shoe had a slight lift and forced me to walk on my toes. That part did take some time to get use to.The design was very slick and allowed the shoe to be worn in different environments and settings. Very nice design and really enjoyed the comfort provided by the midsole. The neutral color scheme makes them incredibly versatile, allowing you to match them with jeans, shorts, or even dressier pants. The shoe's design exudes a sense of modernity, and the Nike logo adds a subtle touch of sporty flair. However, there is one minor drawback to these shoes—the weight. While they're not overly heavy, they are slightly bulkier than some other sneakers on the market. This extra weight might be noticeable during extended walks or if you're particularly sensitive to the heft of your footwear. But, for most everyday activities, it shouldn't be a significant issue. In summary, these Nike shoes are a fantastic addition to any wardrobe. They combine comfort, style, and versatility in a single package. The slight heaviness may be a concern for some, but it's a small trade-off for the overall quality and appeal of these sneakers. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a reliable and fashionable footwear option.... Show more

The back of the shoe has a harder plastic that wraps around your heel and also adds to the stability. The downside of all these stability elements is that it makes the shoe heavy, and I certainly noticed it after wearing them for a while. I also feel like the shoe runs narrow than other Nike Air Max shoes as it felt a slightly more snug than other Air Max shoes i've worn... Show more
