Back in 1996 the ground breaking Nike Wmns Air Rift had it is debut. The split-toe construction secures good balance and was inspired by the great barefoot runners of Great Rift Valley in Kenya. The broad strap over the forefoot and behind the heel makes the fit easily adjustable. The upper is made of elastic breathable mesh material, while the sole is made of Phylon providing excellent cushioning.
