Debuting in 1978 for the Honolulu Marathon and then released in ‘79, the original Tailwind, the first Nike model to feature the brand’s now-signature Air cushioning technology, has returned as a popular lifestyle silhouette. Keeping the same core features intact, the modern reissue is constructed in the lightweight build of the original release in mesh and suede with full-length Air cushioning. This colorway features a Parachute Beige nylon mesh upper with matching suede heel and toe box panels, and a waffle traction patterned rubber outsole.
