Originally created for a Nike and Foot Locker nascent project, Sean McDowell's Air Max Plus reinvented Air for more targeted cushioning - later to be known as Tuned Air. Recently, Nike reinvented Air again, by stripping down all of the unnecessary and putting Air directly underneath the foot of the wearer in the Air Vapormax silhouette. Now the two iconic running shoes combine with the release of the Vapormax Plus. Featuring the same palm tree-inspired lines, and gradient coloration, the shoe still manages to keep the contoured midfoot of the original. Mesh uppers for a secure breathable fit. Design integrated TPU support wrap with attached eyelets. Cushlon foam footbed on top of the Nike Air Vapormax unit. Segmented Air-Sole unit keeps the shoe as light and flexible as ever.
