Nike Air Zoom GT Cut Violet Crimson

(54 reviews)

Cut Violet Crimson is a performance basketball sneaker flaunting a violet colorway. This pair of kicks combines Nike React and Air Zoom technologies in its construction. Cut Violet Crimson features a neoprene upper, padded toe box paneling, and tongue all decked out in violet colors. The crimson color hits the rubber sole, which has Air Zoom’s "Strobel cushioning." You'll catch glimpses of the swoosh on the lateral sides that employ a mesh-like design with neutral purple and violet hues as the color options. The inner sole sports a bright crimson color as is the branding atop the TPU heel wrap. A purple Swoosh on the forefoot finishes off the purple theme of this silhouette. What our experts love about the Nike Air Zoom G.T. Cut Violet is the Air Zoom unit on the sole, which increases responsiveness on and off the court. The sole unit, mated with Strobel cushioning, delivers a springy feeling that promotes comfort. Cut Violet Crimson was released on January 12, 2021 retailing for $170.

I got these shoes for my bf after complaining that his Frees weren’t supportive enough for practicing basketball with our kids. He liked the cushion inside the shoe from the
Nike react insole and the zoom strobel. He liked of the the grip that the bottom of the shoes provided, (we had to use it on an outdoor court because of COVID) but he said the
shoe was def more supportive than the frees however he said that he’d prefer more ankle support if using these for playing basketball. He also had trouble putting his foot
inside the shoe because the insole is “sticky”. We also liked the airflow in these shoes. His feet didn’t get too hot. I got the white ones with infrared and pink and ... Show more

These sneakers are very fun. I have to admit at first glance it’s like whoa, are these going to be the right ones for me? They are feel very different l from other Nike basketball
shoes. Insole is different from other shoes I have worn. The insoles are a bit thicker and it’s rubber so something different and something I would have to get use to. The fit is
good and true to size. They are very sleek and is a nice color pattern. The sneakers can be worn as a casual walk shoe and for the courts when playing basketball. I rated with
an average score because of the insole. It might take some breaking into, but I’ll be able to tell in a few weeks.

These sneakers are one of the most comfortable pairs I’ve ever owned. I was skeptical at first because the heel of the shoe felt very “bouncy” compared to other sneakers.
However, I adjusted to this quickly and actually love it now. The support from the heel and arch is better than any I’ve ever felt. They look sleek and work well as athletic shoes
or for casual wear. They have a unique look without being too flashy. The fit was true to size. I can definitely wear these all day and my feet feel just as good after working 12+
hours as they did when I first put these shoes on.

Next Gen Sports Cars for Feet

Next Gen Sports Cars for FeetThe instant I put these shoes on for the first time, my son said, “Cool shoes, dad!” My son is a tough crowd to impress. Within an hour, my brother-in-law who is a local basketball legend was complimenting my shoes too. This must be what driving a new Ferrari around town feels like. They are very comfortable and the insole is non-slip, keeping my socks in place and will be great for juking on the court.I’m hoping they’re machine washable or easy wipe down, so I can keep them white.Once laced up, my feet are secure and snug and not going to slide around. The ankle support is great but the arch is just good.I haven’t played a game in them yet, but the small vents on the top are likely not enough to keep my feet cool and dry so I’m ... MoreNext Gen Sports Cars for FeetThe instant I put these shoes on for the first time, my son said, “Cool shoes, dad!” My son is a tough crowd to impress. Not For Me
1 June 2021
Fit & Finish: A little snug initially but I'm sure they will break in over the next few weeks. My right ankle is generally always bigger than my left due to an injury so I can certainly feel the snugness on that side more. A little tight in the toe box, my feet felt relief after taking the shoes off. Again, a longer break in period may remedy this.It wouldn't bother me but I'm sure it would to someone else, some frayed edges at the ankle and loose ends of stitching on top of the toe box.Appearance & Materials: the bright white, neon orange/pink just aren't my style. I know this is probably what's in style these days, but I'm just not into it.Like anything I buy, I am concerned about the end of life of the product, and doubt these shoes are biodegrade or are in ... MoreFit & Finish: A little snug initially but I'm sure they will break in over the next few weeks. Shoes that hold their grip, both inside and out
5 June 2021
The Nike Air Zoom shoes did an incredible job with friction and holding my footing. Also, the foot arch support was helpful and the shoe was comfortable. We have a smooth floor with large tiles in our kitchen, where it is very slippery when wet. Even there, the shoe did very well. It seems ideally suited to basketball, but also very good for walking or jogging on sidewalks or greenways.Put another way, if I were not doing athletics, it's a comfortable shoe in the city in very casual settings. There are some things to note, though. First, I usually use a size 12 and tie my shoes tight. These shoes seem to be a little bit small in the sizing in the width, at least in how they tighten. I don't know if this has something to do with the fact that they or unisex shoes ... MoreThe Nike Air Zoom shoes did an incredible job with friction and holding my footing. I don't know if this has something to do with the fact that they or unisex shoes or if that is unrelated. My feet are fairly narrow, so if you have medium or wide feet, I recommend considering a half size larger than you might ordinarily choose. Also, my shoes look really nice, but they are mostly white with both orange and pink accents. These are colors that typically don't look well together. I would prefer to lose the pink, or choose two accent colors that are more typically complementary. But this I find to be a minor criticism.Overall, I found this a comfortable, effective shoe, especially worthwhile on smooth, hard surfaces; perfect for basketball and also very good for walking, jogging, running.... Sturdy Shoes With a Bold Look
4 June 2021
If you're looking for low-top basketball shoes, take a look at the Nike Air Zoom basketball shoes. And I say take a look because the bold colors and style will be the first thing you — and anyone else — is going to notice about these basketball shoes. The first time my husband wore them outside of the house, that was the first thing anyone said to him.But these shoes doesn't only have style. Because they are basketball shoes, they come with more grip than your average sneaker. If you wear them for everyday activities and exercise, you won't be slipping. One down side is that they are a little stiff, even after wearing them a few days. If you're looking for a flexible shoe, this one isn't it. If you are wanting a sturdy shoe, you've found it. Even though it's stiff and study, it's still comfortable enough to wear all day.The overall style was the best part of the shoe. It was a low-top basketball option, and the design is stylish, even if it is a little bold. If I was to change one thing about the shoes, it would be that they are offered in tons of color options so that I could pick one that better matched my workout wear.If you see me out in them, I expect you to comment on the style. That's their strongest trait!... Show more

These shoes will make you Glow!
2 June 2021
These shoes are sooo come at ya bright! Bright colors contrast the white base! They are attention-getters for sure! They do run a tad bit small and I recommend wearing socks with them. These aren't shoes to be barefoot in. The laces tie up well and they seem to hug your foot, which is helpful if running/walking or playing sports. They are comfortable, but not the most comfortable shoes I've had for activities! The tongue tends to rub your upper ankle a bit. I would probably make the tongue a bit smaller. The material seems like it could be slightly water resistant and easier to clean if they get dirty. The neon colors are quite fun and the white super bright. I think these shoes are a good choice for someone looking to catch some attention and get a hug for their feet.... Show more

Trendy and Comfy
31 May 2021
I am very active through exercise (including basketball) and chasing around my toddler, and the Nike Air Zoom basketball shoes are comfy enough to wear around all day and are great on the basketball court. I love the way they hug my feet when I am making quick moments on and off of the court. The padding around the ankle makes the shoes even more comfortable. I love the way the colors pop on the white mesh-like base of the shoe. The paint splatter look towards the heel is extremely trendy and cute. The one thing I would change about this shoe would be the insole. Though it is a nice, thick foam, the insole is made of a silicone type material which I did not like. It made it so that when I put my foot in the shoe, my socks would get crumpled up and uncomfortable. It made it so that when I put my foot in the shoe, my socks would get crumpled up and uncomfortable. To fix this, I was able to easily take out the insole and replace it with a store bought one. This made the shoe a 5- star shoe. Overall, I would definitely recommend this shoe because the only con was the insole, which was easily replaced.... Show more

Was sceptical, but the shoes are fantastic!
4 June 2021
I was a little sceptical of these shoes initially. They are a little less my style, I typical wear more subdued colors and the inserts for the shoes were interesting material. But after wearing them for a few days, I have to say, they are really great! They have ample breathing and the material of the inserts make my feet stay put so there's no heel lift that I typically get in this type of shoe. And I've never gotten so many compliments about my shoes. Everywhere I go someone tells me cool shoes.I was worried my feet would get hot, but they felt cool the whole time. I can see how they would be great for sports, but I've really enjoyed them for just everyday wear.... Show more
