Air Zoom Alphafly Next%2 - Great Running Shoes!
To my surprise, these shoes are actually very comfortable and supportive given the light materials they are made of. The fit is a bit snug at first which I didn’t initially like but after a few wears I love it! These are made for running on the track or any other long/short distance cardio. The snug fit allows your foot to stay planted and not slip around inside and the shoe has incredible grip that I’ve never felt before when compared to other running shoes. Most dedicated running shoes sacrifice comfort and many other things for weight savings which is a big deciding factor when purchasing. These shoes are an outlier and do not cut corners on anything. The thing I liked most about the shoe was the grip and outstanding comfort. It is really like no other. The only thing I would change about the shoe would be the ankle lining. If you’re wearing no show socks or short enough socks that don’t cover your ankles, it may slightly irritate them. Other than that, these shoes are perfect! Would 100% get them again.... Show more

Unboxing this shoe was very exciting. As soon as I opened the box and seen the drawstring bag I was ready to throw the shoes in the bag and head to the park. From the vibrant orange color with the hints of highlighter green in the air bubbles, I was super excited because these are colors runners love. The colors also reminded me of the leaves on trees as autumn is approaching or finally here. Just having vibrant colors as these makes runners more visible when running at night. The ergonomic design and foamy bottom gives the sense of running on a cloud. The material of the shoe itself feels paper thin but is feels durable and more breathable than other running shoes. This allows for less odor from long runs and to dry faster. The foamy bottom with the air bubble ... MoreUnboxing this shoe was very exciting. This allows for less odor from long runs and to dry faster. The foamy bottom with the air bubble should allow more support and less pressure on the feet. Unfortunately I was not able to get the shoes on my feet because it runs small. I wish the material at the heel was more sturdy because as I tried to put the shoes on, my heel would crush the back of the shoe. As I tried to pull the back up the shoe out with the heel tag to give some leverage to allow my heel to slip in, it was extremely impossible and I continued to struggle to get the shoes on. This was mostly due to the shoe being too small in size and width. I recommend getting at least a half size bigger than your normal shoe size, especially for someone with wider feet.... Show more

A Premium Running Shoe
The Air Zoom Alphafly Next 2 is a loud and premium running shoe. The shoe is unbelievably light weight. I could not believe Nike was able to make a shoe this lightweight and stylish at the same time. The shoe is too narrow for my feet so be aware that if you have a hard time fitting into shoes due to width these shoes will be too narrow for you.The details on these shoes are next level from the infinity logo on the heal to the completely unique shoe laces. If Nike makes this shoe with a slightly wider fit I would like pairs in multiple colorways. If you are in the market of the perfect running shoe and your foot is average width to narrow, this is the shoe for you.... Show more

Forward.
The energy return is very substantial and almost surreal at full speed running. I have only ran on pavement in these shoes and it feels very rewarding as long as running is the main focus. I find it hard to slow down often times after picking up some speed, as the shoes give me a noticeable push every time my heel comes off contact from the ground. If I were to use one word to describe my experience in these shoes, it would be: Forward. Constantly and consistently, the shoe feels as if it’s main focus us to guide you forward. Even while walking, it almost feels effortless because of the natural tendency to move forward. After short runs of 4-5 miles, I somehow feel more energized, and my feet hardly experiences any aches or fatigue. The shoes are more comfortable ... The shoes are more comfortable than I expected and has a very balanced cushion from heel to toe. They are also surprisingly stable, even with the noticeable push off after every step. While I do feel like my times are faster after every run in these shoes, the main takeaway is how comfortable they are post-run and the feeling that I can run even more without worrying about fatigue coming on. I find myself looking forward to my next run more so than I have ever felt in the past. These shoes are very well engineered to help you keep running, to stay moving, to do more, and ultimately- to drive the passion forward.... Show more

Like walking on clouds
This is an amazing shoe with the way Nike made the soles! The only problem is that I have very wide and flat feet so the shoe was very narrow on me.I have 3 ways that I judge a shoe: fit/comfort, design, functionality.Fit/comfort - As I mentioned above this is an incredibly comfortable shoe since Nike has done an outstanding job with the sole technology. The airzoom air unit, zoom x mid sole, and fly plate make for the perfect combination of comfort and stability. The zoom soles make it seem like you’re walking on cloud while the flyplate provides the stability you need to feel like you’re walking on solid ground. It’s a great feeling for outside runs and long walks. The only complaint I have is that this is made for narrower feet. My wide feet feel cramped in ... My wide feet feel cramped in the shoe and my low arches make it painful to wear this for a long time. If Nike makes this in a wider width it would be perfect.Design - this shoe is from the future. The overall look is so innovative and it looks like a spaceship. The only downside is that it looks like a platform shoe because the soles are padded so high. The shoe is also extremely versatile and can be worn with a lot of different outfits.Functionality - other than jogging outside this shoe has little functionality. The high soles make your center of gravity too high so it’s hard to play sports in these shoes because cutting and quickly switching direction is so difficult. Running on hard pavement for long periods of time and running in a straight line is what this shoe is made forOverall it’s a great shoe. It’s a bit pricey but I think it’s because of the technology that went into it. I just wish it was wider.... Show more

Never worn anything like it
I am not an enjoyment runner by any means and view it more as a have to than a want to. That being said I have never enjoyed a run as much as I did wearing this shoe. I have worn many brands of running shoe, including different Nikes. This shoe is different. Coming out of the box the shoe looks odd, neon orange is BRIGHT, but for a running that isn't a bad thing. The design of the sole is totally unique and when you wear it you know why. As soon as your foot slides in (very easily) and you lace them up, (doesn't feel like you even need to) you can tell this is not an average running shoe. I set out for what was a planned 2 mile run and ended up going 5. I was having too much fun with these. Every strike down your foot makes, the shoe is already propelling you ... It almost felt like cheating. The ergonomics are outstanding. Movement aside, the shoes are insanely comfortable. There is no specific pressure point on your foot, the whole shoe feels like your foot is in a featherweight pillow. I stayed on a road for the entirety of the run and the conditions were dry. I had zero complaints. My next run was indoor on a concrete track around a court. The traction wasn't great, but the track needed swept. Running on the concrete I felt the same comfort and lack of pressure anywhere on my feet. These shoes are ridiculous 11 out of 10.... Show more

Unnaturally Good
When I first put these on, the feeling of stepping in them was a bit like first stepping onto a trampoline. I sunk into them and then surprisingly bounced back up a bit. It was a bit awkward at first, but nothing too extreme, just something to get accustomed to. Other than that, the break in period was minimal to non-existent. And once I got used to them, the AlphaFly Next% 2 were an absolute dream to run in, especially on concrete. For context, I have played soccer for about 16 or so years and in those years my knees have taken a lot of damage. As a result, I tend to avoid running on hard surfaces simply for the sake of comfort. However, walking around in this pair of shoes just felt so good that I had to try them on concrete. As a result, I tend to avoid running on hard surfaces simply for the sake of comfort. However, walking around in this pair of shoes just felt so good that I had to try them on concrete. And for the first time in a long time, running on a sidewalk was comfortable. That, to me, was nothing short of amazing. The cushioning and structural systems of this shoe really do give you the feeling of being sprung in the direction you want to go, it is that good. Does it actually make you faster? I cannot say, but it certainly makes you feel faster and more importantly, it makes running fun.Of course the stuff going on underfoot is the star of this shoe, but a lot of other aspects of it are great too! I found the upper to be extremely breathable, keeping your feet nice and cool, adding to the comfort of running in these. It is also well structured, helping to maintain stability when changing directions or making other lateral movements. The heel is healthily cushioned, making for a comfortable fit and helping to avoid blisters in my time testing the shoes. Lastly, one of my favorite details is the textured laces, which hold their tension very well, making for a very consistent fit when the shoes are in use.In addition to all of this, the shoes look awesome as well. The midsole alone makes them look very futuristic, while the translucent upper allows for your socks to show through as well, making for some very unique potential looks. The colorway, too, being many shades of orange with black accents, adds its own twist on the look of the shoes, often bringing to my mind the palette of a sunset. In spite of all my praise for these shoes, they do, in fact, have some flaws. Very minor flaws, but flaws nonetheless. The first of which is the tongue. The tongue area of the shoes are padded, but the padding is insufficient in my experience and still left room for pressure from the laces to be felt at the top of my foot. This is easily remedied by adjusting the laces, but it is an annoyance, especially considering the price of the shoes. Additionally, I find that the opening of the shoe is a bit undersized, making them unnecessarily difficult to put on. Next, is the heel which, while nicely padded, is lined with a somewhat slick material that allows for more heel slippage than I am comfortable with. All in all, I do recommend the Nike Air Zoom AlphaFly Next% 2. However, I do have one major disclaimer for these shoes and it is not the $275 USD price tag. I have fairly narrow, arched feet and I can feel the sides of the midfoot touching my feet. So, if you have wide or flat feet or if you just don’t like shoes with low volume in the midfoot, these are absolutely not going to work for you. Otherwise, I absolutely recommend them 100% and if the need should arise, I will absolutely be looking to get another pair.... Show more

I enjoyed how nice it was to go for long run and come home without any pain, knee or foot, because of the support on both the bottom of the shoe and the back. Blisters are always a pain after a long run and this shoe has added support on the heel, so this never happens. Between the unique design and visually appealing color scheme, mixed in with the great support this shoe gives, I would recommend this shoe to anyone in the market for a one-of-a-kind shoe....
