The Nike Blazer Mid ‘77 Jumbo “Black/Bright Crimson” is a modern spin on the vintage basketball shoe that includes several design modifications, most notably a sock-like collar and oversized Swoosh branding. Inspired loosely by the Nike Blazer’s collaborations with Readymade and Off-White, the Blazer Mid ‘77 Jumbo progresses the shoe’s appearance into the future with a black leather upper that gives way to an elastic, sock-like collar. Contrasting neon green stitching appears on the black suede toe cap. An old school “Nike” with a Swoosh logo is printed on the white nylon tongue tag and a light neon green tab runs down the middle of the tongue. An oversized Bright Crimson leather Swoosh appears on the sides and extends onto the Sail-colored midsole. Underfoot, Nike supplies this contemporary-style Blazer with a beefed-up, treaded outsole.
