They aren't oversized like most tennis shoes made now and they are so comfortable and durability when walking for hours. Even hiking, gardening, speed walking or just at the mall, they are the best traction. it is lightweight and stylish.

Classic clean timeless style

The shoe looks incredible. Super clean classic style. The toe box is a different shape than any other nike shoe. It takes some getting used to with having your toes confined to a smaller space. I normally wear a 9 but took other reviewer's advice and bought a half sizer bigger, 9.5. It still feels a little tight and i might suggest going an entire size bigger if you are used to having a little wiggle room. Other than the size issue, i love these and will probably by more pairs in the future.

Classic in every sense

This shoe and my feet have been together for 45 years. It's a match made in heaven. I wear size 14, I wouldn't guess a popular size, but my love for these shoes is such that I'll buy several pair at a time because I have run into situations where I needed a new pair and there were none available. So I stock up. Current inventory, four new pair in the closet, about to be three, as I bust out a new pair today. I'll wear them everywhere everyday, workouts, work, walking my dog, going to the store, averaging maybe 20 miles per week, the great majority of that on concrete, and they will last 4 months, wonderfully! In every sense, I could not be happier with another shoe.

I would think about buying from here again

My wife bought me a pair and just received them as of yesterday. I grew up wearing cortez since late 90s. I honestly don't remember seeing the adhesive around were the shoe and the mid and outersole connect. Another thing is that i don't know if its Nike that is making them not as good as i can remember. Im sure also that Finishline decided to send me one that im sure was on display due to it not having the paper inside of the shoe. Last, the sole is not flush with the shoe as you can see in the picture.

Never by men cortez online.

Gave it one star because I had to. This is like the fourth time receiving worn Nike Cortez from online purchase. These had been worn and had PUBIC HAIR in it. You should never find PUBIC HAIR in any shoes. Reached out to customer service and received computer generated response telling me how to return them. No sorry for the PUBIC HAIR. Nothing. So thanks for telling me something I already new on how to return them. Buy in store so you can see them before buying.

Nike Cortez: a classic with classically good looks and value

Where to begin? I'm a Cortez fanatic since age 21. Whether leather or nylon, these shoes just never fail. I wear them mainly for casual attire. They are comfortable, long-lasting, and darn good-looking. I am happy the company continues producing and selling them. The millennials are getting turned on to them and I think they will really enjoy them. Thanks, Nike!

One of the best sneakers of all time.

I've been wearing the Nike Cortez since I was able to afford my first pair as a teenager. It's a true classic and a simple and comfortable Nike without the crazy prices of some of the other Swoosh styles. The fit is pretty much true to size but because of the old school nature, they don't have the support of newer models and might feel slightly big or loose. From the Farrah Fawcett skate photos from Charlie's Angels to modern era collabs with Mister Cartoon, the Nike Cortez and its origins as the shoe Bill Bowerman, founder of Nike, made with his wife's waffle iron, this is one of the most important sneakers in Sneaker History.

Sketchy

I purchased these shoes because I am a long time fan of Cortez HOWEVER this specific pair seem suspect. 1 of the shoes seems as if it might of been the display shoe. I say this because it has an indent on the tip of the shoe like if people handled it & looks wider than the other, like if someone tried it on & the biggest clue was the fact it didn't have the paper filler inside you get when the shoe is fresh, you know what I'm talking about. So I stuffed a pair of socks in it,, see if it helps.. Why didn't I return you might ask? Because they are out of stock now. It sucks that one pays full price for what has been manhandled already. A discount would of helped the fact but they didn't even try. Almost like they crossed their fingers & hoped for the best.

Terrific shoe!

I recommend this shoe. Great brand, and I love getting all retro! I was looking for a "neutral-looking" shoe that could go with anything: jeans, shorts, etc.The sizes do run a bit small. Typically, I wear a men's 12, ordered that, and it was too tight. Returned and got a 13, which was perfect. The return policy and return process was very efficient and impressive.The shoes are very comfortable and are holding up pretty well so far! Just might buy another pair.
