These shoes definitely give throwback vibes. I really liked the colors of the shoes. They fit true to size and do not feel narrow. Immediately when putting them on I could tell
there wasn’t too much arch support. I did not like that. But since I wasn’t doing major walking in the shoe, it was fine. The material of this pair was suede and they are a pretty
light blue/gray so they can get dirty easily if you’re not careful. I like the flat laces, it helped the shoe stay tied. The only thing I would change about this shoe would be adding
a little more arch support or making the sole a smidge thicker to increase comfort for wearing these all day.

My feet are wider than the sole but it didn’t matter, I still felt comfortable and supported as I walked, shopped, and ate.Pulling them out of the box, they gave me the impression of bowling shoes, but not when I put them on. They looked great with flared jeans and can easily be styled with street wear. The sole being almost platform-y gave my jeans some air from being dragged around too, which as a short gal, I appreciated!Excited to see these shoes come out in more color ways! I exclusively wear gold jewelry so the silver swoosh made me a bit nervous, but we love a mixed metal moment, and the sky blue fabric upper looks great with any wash of jean. Highly recommend if you need a comfortable, every day shoe that can be dressed up or down and in multiple different styles!

They really stepped up the OG! I was never really a huge fan of the Cortez, because having a wide foot, the shoe wasn’t really comfortable. This updated Cortez has a wider toe box, so my big and pinky toes aren’t jammed up. I love how breathable and comfortable they are, and the sides don’t make my feet hurt. All in all, a totally comfortable upgrade on a classic silhouette. I’ve been converted, I’m a Cortez fan now! These are in my regular rotation from running errands to hitting the office. Solid, solid, sneaker!

The Nike Cortez is a bit of a staple for Nike Casual wear. A blast for the past if you will.Starting with the fit, it does run a little snug and short so fellow wide footers beware. But, even then the break in process was smooth and short.Design is virtually unchanged from any other Cortez but for me, that is a good thing. The roundness of the toe box does make it look odd from certain angles.The fabric was a mix of synthetics but they were soft which aided in the break in process luckily. Nothing to write home about in terms of premium feel but they do look very nice, specially with the blue steel shade they came with.Pros:Design - Nostalgic and ooze personality.Cons:Fit - Not the most wide foot friendly. I received several pair for Mother’s Day 5/12/24 and yes the toe box does look and feel better. I’m glad I asked my son to go up half a size. I’m a solid 10 with no foot issues. I have someone who is going to sell the satin pink and suede ones and a black and white leather pair size 10 because they hurt the tip of my toes. I have 3 pair that were gifts and although this is my first time wearing the Picante color I knew when I tried them on yesterday I made the right decision to go with the 10.5! Folks who say they’re TTS will feel it later. These feel so comfortable and they have always been so cute, my son has a violet purple pair in men’s and he even says they feel like he’s not wearing shoes. You’re gonna love these !

Nike Cortez are my all time favorite sneakers, all time! It was to my surprise that the wider toe box really changed the game because now, not only are they my style, but they feel wider which is more comfortable for me. This update really makes a difference, a noticeable difference for the better,While the toe box is great now, I can’t forget about how freakin stylish these are! The soft blue with silver swoosh is sending me! The color options have always been top notch with the cortez sneakers.Would I change anything on these? Nahhhh! I know some aren’t into the Cortez sneakers because of the narrow style but with the newest update, I am confident you’ll feel the support!

The Nike Cortez is a classic silhouette. It has been an aesthetically pleasing design for years. Nike took it up a notch with the materials on the light pumice/metallic silver. The exterior feels like nylon and withstands creasing and moisture very well. The heel and toe are an extremely soft suede that contrasts nicely with the nylon texture. The color itself is pleasing on the eye. The fit is true to size in length and slightly narrow in width. This is a great everyday shoe that can be dressed up or worn casually. I would not feel comfortable running across the country in these like Forest Gump but they are great for being worn all day long and walking longer distances. I was not a Cortez fan before but after wearing these shoes I am a stan. I love the color and the suade exterior material. They are neutral enough to go with a nicer outfit, but bright enough to pop when I am wearing more color. I can wear these shoes all day comfortably. The toebox is wide enough for me to move, but not to make my feet feel like they are sliding around. They are comfortable with thinner or thicker socks, and the wavy sole is not too unstable to walk around the city.Definitely like these shoes a lot and would absolutely get another pair.

I was so excited to get the shoes pictured but instead I received white Summit high tops. They weren’t even the SIZE I ordered, let alone the right style or color.Hey Nordstrom, you ok? Because things have gotten really bad. The amount of worn, damaged, and incorrect merchandise I’ve received lately is heartbreaking.If you want these shoes, I’d suggest ordering directly from Nike to make sure you get the correct merchandise. Nordstrom just doesn’t care about customers anymore. I honestly feel like they just threw the closest pair of Nikes into a bag (yeah, they shipped these across the country in a bag so the the box is all smashed up) and called it good.
