true to size. They are comfortable and provide great support. What I like most is the style of the shoe, starting with the shape. To me the shape is a mix between causal and
athletic. This makes them easy to pair with many different outfits. The leather is soft and smooth, giving the shoes a refined, sleek look. I also like that the while the main

The Nike Cortez is a Nike classic that has been updated to its current version. The look is low profile and stylish and will definitely get you compliments. They will take you back to your teenage years.The Cortez are easy to put on and the laces stay secured during walks. However, the breathability was mediocre. If you use them to work out in, you’ll sweat a good amount. If only using them as street shoes then this is not a huge issue. During my workout, I felt like the shoes squeezed my foot and I then had to loosen the laces. I suspect this based on the arch support being slightly less than I would like, and the midsole cushion not being quite as cushiony as I would like for a day completely on my feet on pavement.With that said, these shoes are still very comfortable to wear for your typical day. They are not too hot, which was a concern since they have completely leather uppers. The shoe interior is well cushioned and didn’t create any rubs on my foot. The heel feels slightly loose, but not to the point where it feels like your heel is sliding around or going to get a blister. I felt well supported in these shoes, and the tread seems to have great grip.I’m very pleased with these shoes and would recommend them to anyone looking for a hip new athletic casual shoe to wear. They have great style and also great comfort. The retro tread style reminds me of something my grandparents wore, but in a way that doesn’t make me feel old, but instead trendy. The only thing I would maybe change is the tread pattern. It provides fantastic grip, but it also appears to have great grip for keeping mud in the tread. I will need to make sure I wear these on dry days or pavement to prevent mud for getting stuck in the tread grooves. That is a minor annoyance, and all in all I think these are great shoes. Glad Nike brought these back. Been my favorite since childhood. Seems like they made it better from when it was last out. I got the black and white pair and before the toungue seemed kinda short, barley went past the last lace hole, now it’s about 3/4 and inch longer. Over the Cortez feels better than before. Got my pair and my daughter loves her pair. Always go half size up. (I’m usually a 9, had to get 9.5)

I really wanted to love these shoes. I love the retro look and how sleek they are. They also stand out with how clean the design is. They were comfortable to wear, however the issue is that they run narrow particularly in the middle. I do not have wide feet nor do I need to buy wide shoes. I could feel the middle of my feet not having stability as the middle sole was too narrow. I could also see the middle of the shoe was protruding out as well. Though they run narrow they still felt comfortable. As many of Nike's shoes, you can see and feel the quality. I have not worn them for an extended period of time so that comfortability factor may change. As I would wear these for mainly fashion, sadly I would not be wearing them much. Design - hit, with some drawbacks. Simple color scheme but with just the right amount of bright color to give it a unique look and accentuate the shape of the midsole of the shoe. The high curve tip is an interesting design piece that gives me a throwback vibe but I think it's also the flaw of this shoe.Fit - miss. these are size 11M but they fit like size 10, or 10.5 at best. I believe the design of the tip is causing the fit issues because it's pushing up against my toes quite a bit exactly at the point where the curve of the tip connects to the toebox. My husband had the opportunity to try out these shoes and really liked them! They are retro and trendy and he received several comments when he wore these to work as well as out to dinner. He really loved the color combinations of these shoes. He wears a size 13 and has a wide foot, so they were a little snug on his food. He also has a high arch and wears podiatrist prescribed orthotics so without these in the shoes, he is not able to wear for extended periods of time. Because his foot is so wide, he cannot put the orthotics in these shoes and be able to get his foot in, so he reserves wearing these for shorter durations of time. So aesthetically they are top tier and no issues. But for someone with a wider foot and potentially a higher arch (not sure how much of ... The Nike Cortez shoes are a vintage shoe in the modern day and you must have them. They are very comfortable and stylish but still simple enough to wear daily. They are comfortable and can be worn while taking a walk or on a night out with friends. They are easy to clean up if you get a scuff mark on them. I feel like you can always make them look brand new! I feel these shoes run smaller as they were tight on my foot compared to other shoes I have in the same size. These are the perfect shoe for spring and summer.
