Nike Daybreak SP Neptune Green

(46 reviews)

Taking a step away from its recent experimental N. 354 iterations, Nike's trailblazing Daybreak is back once more with its classic nylon and suede construction. Just like the 1979 OG, a waffle outsole and EVA midsole sits underfoot to provide you with supportive cushioning and sure-footed grip. DA0824-300, Leather & Textile Upper/Synthetic Sole.

I sincerely hope that Nike read this. I'm a 66 year old Hall of Fame rocker who's been wearing these since '79, when Nike used to give my band stuff. So, here's my point, and it doesn't only apply to Nike because I have the same issues with reissue models by A****S. I always go up a half size on these vintage reissues, which is fine but here's my point: they all fit narrower than they seemed to back then. Doesn't it ever occur to these companies that many people who seek these out and collect them do so because they had them 40 years ago and are so happy to see them reissued? Yes, the foot spreads as we age, but these overly narrow widths seem more extreme than I remember. I read many reviews with similar comments; I wish these guys would listen. Even a few extra mm ... MoreI sincerely hope that Nike read this. I'm a 66 year old Hall of Fame rocker who's been wearing these since '79, when Nike used to give my band stuff. Even a few extra mm would make a big difference. When your toes are 3/4" from the end but you still need to wear thin socks with a sneaker, someone has got the geometry wrong.... Show more

The shoes color is amazing and the design is pretty awesome. But they should warn about how thin the shoe is. Not everyone has thing feet so these shoes are horrible for wide foots.... Show more
