Once again Nike Sportswear proves it sense for experimentation and deconstruction and presents the Daybreak Type »N.354« as the newest member of its bold »Deconstructed«-series. »N. 354« is a new collection in which Nike dives into its vast archives to find inspiration that’ll meld with today’s design ethos, »simultaneously standing for the past, present and future.« The result are deconstructive remakes of classic prototypes that explore and push the boundaries of today’s footwear design. As a dope fusion of past and future the new Nike Daybreak Type N.354 comes in a number of functional materials that would normally be hidden under an exterior layer — breathable mesh lining appears throughout the uppers, contrasted against lush suede and leather fabrics at the heel and toecap. The all-over black textile upper is upgraded by the high-quality black suede overlays on the mudguard and the heel. Another highlight: The usual Swoosh is removed entirely for a thinner and less noticeable stitched outline. The typical »N.354« branding on the heel and tongue completes the look.
