The sole has more rubber than previous versions of the Downshifter to make it extra durable. It includes about 8% Nike Grind made from recycled manufacturing waste. Lightweight mesh provides breathability so little feet can stay cool and comfortable with every move. Elastic laces and a hook-and-loop strap make the shoe easy to take on and off. Soft foam underfoot provides everyday cushioning. The sole features a groove down the length of the shoe for extra flexibility.
