Yesterday was a nice hot and sunny Saturday, so I wore this shirt. I ordered and extra large to play it safe. Once it arrived and I looked at it, I thought it might be too big. I put it on and it fits perfectly. It's not not so big that it swallows me up or slips off of my shoulder, and it's not so tight that it feels restrictive. At first sight the singlet looked way too small for my body frame; but after giving it a go, I’d say the singlet has a snug feeling to it! But man can I tell you that this singlet does the trick while out racing towards your exercise goals! It is made from a highly durable material that allows for excellent breathing while out on a run. The material and fit make this singlet super comfortable to wear. It’s almost as if I was wearing a top made of paper napkins, it’s that light. Sweat dries off quickly as expected and doesn’t weigh you down. On pure functionality, it’s excellent. I’ve worn it doing activities other than running. The one thing that keeps it from being perfect are the arm and neck holes from a visual standpoint. The way it was constructed doesn’t sit flush on your skin. Kind of looks like the holes have been stretched out a.k.a. “bacon neck.” Not sure if it’s my body-type but it doesn’t look neat like how it does on the Nike models. Then again, I’m not wearing this to the mall. With that said, this is easily my new, go-to running top.

I felt like the sizing is definitely smaller than usual Nike product, but given it's a racing singlet it makes sense to me.It's very comfortable to wear. Despite being a little snug, I don't feel constraint at all. I could easily wear this singlet to run or even play basketball.My favorite feature of this singlet is how soft yet durable the material is, on top of that it's super breathable as you can literally see through those little holes on the fabric. But then all the photos on here showed that clearly people were wearing a size too large.To complicate things further, I wear a Medium in t-shirts, but following the Nike size chart, I'm at the upper end of a "Small". I train mostly functional fitness with regular track days and some longer runs thrown in.Pros-It’s a lightweight, breathable material. Great for warm weather. My first test run was 92 degrees outside and I barely noticed I was wearing it. I like the high cut at the front, so it doesn’t need to be tucked in to keep from being in the way. My favorite feature is the cut of the arm holes. I have broad shoulders and the style gives the shirt a generous feel even though it is a slim fit. The flat seams eliminate any annoying stitching by the arms.Cons- The light, vented fabric may be a trade-off in long-term durability.This will be a great shirt for race days and longer runs where staying cool is important.
The Nike Racing Singlet is a great shirt for any type of exercise! The light weight fabric has small perforations that allows airflow during your workout. The Dri-Fit material is good for hot, sweaty days because it allows the shirt to dry off quickly. My only worry is that the fabric might be too thin and might rip over time. The edges are not finished with stitches, instead it is made up of an elastic hem which is good for comfortability but might not last very long. Overall, the Nike Racing Singlet is a comfortable, breathable shirt that is great to workout in and I would recommend it to anyone that sweats a lot while exercising!
