The Nike Dunk Low PS “Unlv” is the preschool sizing of an original colorway of the former performance basketball shoe that debuted in 1985 as part of the “Be True to Your School” pack. The “Unlv” Dunk was designed for the Unlv Runnin’ Rebels basketball team during Nike’s expansion into the college basketball ranks back in the mid-80s. In 2020 and 2021, Nike re-issued several iconic styles from the “Be True to Your School” collection, including the “Syracuse” and “Michigan” Dunks, in efforts to create excitement around the retro silhouette. To say Nike succeeded in doing so would be an understatement. Here, Varsity Red leather panels on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel are laid over a Medium Grey leather base. A red leather Swoosh resides on either side and grey “Nike” embroidered is stitched onto the heel. Red “Nike” branding appears on the grey nylon tongue tag and a white midsole and red outsole are consistent with the original design of the Nike Dunk Low “Unlv. ”.
