I currently own a pair of NIKE Metcon's that I purchased from NIKE's online site, so I know there's no way these are standard Women's size 8.5. I recently purchased these and have worn them to the gym twice. I wore them while warming up for my OLY but eventually switched to my lifters like always. I did feel a little awkward snatching in them. I put them on after for conditioning (double unders and burpees) and they were perfect for that. I wore them for a short wod (DT) and for the most part they were comfortable to lift it, however I did feel it kind of throw me forward when I did any overhead movements, but I think that will just take getting used to. I haven't ran in them yet, but I'm pretty sure they'll be perfect for a running wod. I bought these to replace my very first metcons (2.5 year old metcon reppers) and I will be keeping them. I did get these on sale and I don't think I would purchase these ... MoreI recently purchased these and have worn them to the gym twice. I did get these on sale and I don't think I would purchase these full price over the metcon reacts (which are my absolute fav). These will probably be my go to shoes to coach in once the whole lockdown is over and our box reopens as they are cushioning and comfortable. They definitely look chunky and more of a lifestyle shoe, which I like.

Really happy with this purchase. The reviews really helped me. I have flat feet and don’t need insoles in this shoe and my feet feel so supported! I can get deeper squats with these shoes and you really feel your heels connect to your glutes while you train! Really comfy. However probably not the best for running long distance in. I went half a size up based on the reviews and I also wear thick socks when I train and they fit perfectly!

Good all-rounder

So glad I took the plunge and purchased these. I’d always gone for the lower end Nikes and worn them out so quickly that I wanted to invest in a more substantial pair. These are ridiculously comfortable and make your feet feel so secure (no rolling) during HIIT workouts and running. Laces stay fastened and they’re easy to wipe clean. Not sure if they’re meant to be waterproof but I’ve been out in them in the rain and had no issues.I saw a lot of people online saying to size up half a size if possible. I didn’t do this but I can see why they say to do so- when I wear slightly thicker socks, the fit is very snug. Probably worth bearing in mind if you have wide feet.

Great Fit
11 August 2020

I was hesitant to purchase these due to comments about them running small but I am so happy I took the chance. These fit like a glove and are true to size. I wear a size 10 and would consider my feet to be a tad wide. Like if I was wearing strappy sandals I would probably opt for the wide option. However, with this pair I did not have any issues with fit. These are incredibly comfortable and feel very supportive for when I do HIIT training. I am plus size and need more cushion when working out and these shoes fit the bill. Also they are super cute! The colors pop against the white background and look great with my black leggings.

I ordered my normal size, 7.5, and I could barely get the shoes on. I traded them for an 8 and still have a tough time putting the shoes on. Not being dramatic, I really have to wrestle my feet into them. Once they are on they are just okay. They are extremely narrow, even with a half size larger than normal. They feel sturdy and stable, but would definitely not use for any running (I had the 2nd version of these and running in them was decent). In store, the guy recommended I try the men’s as it is wider but I declined. Stupid of me. I’m hoping they stretch and flex a little as I wear them more- either that or I will regret getting them. Overall not my favorite.

Meh .. disappointed

This review is coming from someone who is trying to replace the Nike Free X shoes I’ve been wearing. I have tried tons of different brands and even different metcons and I finally found a pair that were just amazing which are the Nike free X shoes. I was unable to get those now because they have not come out with more sizes in that shoe. I saw these and was curious and hoping that they were as good as the Nike free X.Sadly, I was very disappointed in the shoes. They are not as flexible, light weight or as wide as the Nike free X shoes. They are more stiff and more bulky in the sole and less lightweight. They are also much thinner in the toe box. Let’s hope not, because I will be quite heart broken if they are the newer version of the Free X shoes I love so much. On the other hand, you might love these shoes if you have not tried the other Nike free models...

In the last couple months I custom ordered 2 different pairs of shoes and sadly I’m stuck with them both (as they’re custom) & they aren’t my favorite. One pair makes my shins hurt every time I workout in them and the other pair gives me blisters on the back of my ankle.. I’ve worn them repeatedly knowing I’ll get blisters thinking they just need to be worn/ stretched out but that wasn’t the case.. over $200 wasted... LOLH O W E V E RI AM SO PLEASED AND SATISFIED with this pair!! I snagged them in the cheetah print and was a little scared based off of the reviews saying to get a size bigger.. I stuck to my original sneaker size 8.5 and they, not only fit perfectly, but I’ve worked out in them for 2 weeks and haven’t gotten any blisters NOR any aches and pains! Perfect for HIIT and short runs—run small so size up
26 August 2020

These are my first pair of Nikes that are specific to the type of training I do. I used to just buy any Nikes that I thought were cute and affordable but because I'm doing more intense HIT, strength training combined with running, I needed something that would work for both running as well as hold up to the intensity of HIT. So far so good! My foot feels very stable in these shoes during high knees, lateral shuffles, and burpees—and the bottom is very durable compared to some other Nikes I've purchased in the past. I do highly recommend going up at least a half size. I'm a proper size 10 across all shoe brands but took the advice of others and went with a 10.5. It's the perfect fit—I don't think I would have even been able to get my foot in a size 10. I think a size ... MoreThese are my first pair of Nikes that are specific to the type of training I do. Really Comfortable not for long distance walking
22 October 2020

I love this shoe, it is super wide naturally so your foot has enough space for all its toes and it doesn't numb them. From day 1 they felt like a glove compared to other shoes that I had to break in and I really like all of the colors, I got the white ones so I just have to be mindful not to use them for heavy dutty things or they will end up grey in about a month. That being said, if you plan to do long distance walking or hiking (I do anything from 5-15 miles walks and hikes) I do not reccommend them because they do not have enough cushion to maintain comfort throughout the long continuous distances. And this is just an FYI, the description does say this shoe is good for training and lifting and it's on point because of the way your foot sits on the shoe it helps ... MoreI love this shoe, it is super wide naturally so your foot has enough space for all its toes and it doesn't numb them. I got the white with powder blue and red and they are amazing, but you do have to be mindful not to use them in places that they will get dirty because they will obviously become grey in no time.Hope this helps!
