AWFUL. EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE.

Something has to be wrong with these shoes. The left one is fine, but the right one is significantly too narrow/misshapen. Have been wearing them regularly for months to
break them in to no avail. My Achilles is tight for days after wearing them on a half hour walk around the neighborhood. Would do zero stars if I could.

Great shoe, when you get the right size

One of my favorite sneakers converted into a waterproof golf shoe. Very comfortable once you get the right size. They run at least half a size small. Had to exchange, but if I
had used the recommended size option feature Dick's offers it told me to order a half size up (realized after the fact). I had a prior generation of the Air Max 90 golf shoe that
fit perfectly in my normal size, but this generation definitely runs small. Still looks great and a good shoe if you primarily walk the course.

Looks amazing, not very comfortable
20 December 2023
I love these golf shoes, wanted them for a long time since they look incredible. Pretty disappointed in the comfort of the sole, especially being a Nike product. I've had good luck with their shoes in the past being comfortable, but these feel like walking on plywood. I'll have to get some insoles, and break them in more.... Show more

Looks great, and performs decently so far for a newbie

Disclaimer:I’m fairly new to golf, so I don’t have other golf shoes to compare it to. But, as a fan of the Air Max 90 (Air Maxes in general), I had to get these when they restocked.Looks:The shoes look great. Very similar looking to normal Air Max 90s. The toe box shape is pleasing since it isn’t boxy and appears quite a bit slimmer/lower.On foot:As with any other Nike shoe, I buy half a size up. Would recommend buying the same size you would for other AM90s, if you have them, or whatever size you normally purchase for Nike shoes.I have more wide, flat feet, so there are times when I will need to break in Nike shoes. For the non-golf AM90s, I have not needed to break them in. For these, the first time out on the course, they initially felt good. For the non-golf AM90s, I have not needed to break them in. For these, the first time out on the course, they initially felt good. They’re stiffer than normal AM90s. Solid comfort though. Normal AM90s feel a bit more cushiony/comfortable than these for some reason. After about 2 hours on the course, I started to feel a bit of pain (nothing unbearable) on my right pinky toe. This is usually the problem I have with any Nike/Jordan shoe that I need to break in, so no surprise there. I’m sure this will go away as the shoe breaks in.Performance:The layer that is applied to the majority of the shoe to make it water resistant does appear to work. When I play in the early morning, none of the morning dew on the course got through the shoe as I play through the course. I will say the shoe didn’t feel as breathable and I imagine it’s due to this layer of protection. I’m curious to see how breathable these will be when playing on a warmer day.As for traction, having only played in normal Nike running shoes (React cushioning/outsole and Free RN cushioning/outsole), it was very noticeable that I had quite a bit of grip. I’ve never played with spikes, so can’t compare to that. But for a non-spiked outsole that doesn’t look like it would give more traction than normal sneakers, I absolutely felt the grip. I don’t generate a ton of torque, so I don’t know how the grip will be for more powerful swings. I will say that I felt secure throughout my swing and my feet did not slip or move around.Overall, I’m enjoying these shoes. Glad I bought them. Will try to buy other colorways as they release. Looking forward to breaking them in and seeing how they will perform over time. Would definitely recommend if you love AM90s. Not sure if they are the best performing non-spiked Nike golf shoes, but they perform fine for me at the moment and I love that I can wear AM90s to golf without having to wear any of my normal AM90s.... Love The Air Max 90 G
13 January 2023
These are great shoes. They’re comfortable, and they give a great feeling of stability and traction during the golf swing. I have these in white and black; dirt and gunk wipe off with a towel, rag, or paper towel. (Any smudges are especially unnoticeable on the black pair.) You can also wear them off the course if you’re so inclined. And of course they’re true to the retro style - reminding me of the Air Max I had when I was a kid. Great shoes.... Show more

Really Nice Spikeless Shoe
27 April 2021
Have been using these for the past month, and am very pleased with their performance to date. Very comfortable, provide a decent stable platform and acceptable grip. I tend to rotate between these and a pair of Puma NXT Discs. Both provide more than adequate grip on turf assuming you have a solid base with a mechanically sound swing.I’d guess most of the negative comments about a lack of grip are from golfers with poor bases, poor mechanics, and poor rhythm. Sport seems to attract many of those types. With a good set up and a sound swing you’ll be fine as far as stability and grip with these under all but the wettest surfaces. I play regularly in the low to mid 70’s and if they have enough grip for me they have enough grip for virtually anyone who is not trying to ... MoreHave been using these for the past month, and am very pleased with their performance to date. Very Uncomfortable
18 July 2023
Tried these on at Golf Galaxy and they felt ok - maybe a tiny bit snug in width - but I assumed they'd stretch a bit. Wore them out on the course for the first time (riding - not walking) and couldn't wait to get them off. They are definitely way to narrow and felt terrible overall after 18. I normally wear a 9-1/2 D shoe - which is what I bought - and these were awful. On the plus side, the styling is great and the traction on the course was really good. Maybe I just need a wider size (which is not something I need in any other shoe)? YMMV... Show more

you can do better nike
30 September 2024
These Air max 90s are trash if I'm being honest. These are cheap hard plastic shoes that run small. I don't expect these to last long at all given the materials they are made of. I am so disappointed in these, even the sides of the sole is like a slippery gloss painted texture. not black rubber/foam (i bought the black pair). For $170 you can do a lot better Nike. A lot Better!value - 1/10traction - 1/10sizing - 1/10durability - 1/10 (tbd)... Show more
