I picked up a pair of these to replace my Pegasus 40's on regular training runs and must say I'm really pleased with them. What are they like to wear? They seem ideal for easy paced training runs and are cushioned enough for regular use, really "taking care" of your feet. They feel very stable underfoot with a nice heel to toe rocking motion and good grip which seems, to me at least, to encourage better running form. What about the fit?It was recommended to go up half a size and I'm glad that I did. Nike are usually spot on size wise but these do feel fairly closed in around the toes and the upper is snug against the foot.Anything else to note? That snug upper does make these Infinity Run Flyknit 4's a warm shoe. Highly recommended.

I combed through the reviews before purchasing, and Iām so thankful I took a chance. These are the best shoes Iāve had in over a decade since the Free RNs! I have several issues that affect my feet (fibromyalgia, arthritis, previous injuries) that cause me to experience pain, numbness, and tingling. I can tell the difference when Iām wearing these and when Iām not. I can now walk longer distances, stand for longer periods of time, and almost walk barefoot at home. I love them so much I bought two colors and recommend them to everyone. Every time I receive a compliment, I physically take the shoe off, let them feel how light it is, send them discounts and coupons, and rave about how this is my favorite shoe. Listen I have worked in the medical profession for 20 years and it has destroyed my feet. I have tried almost every brand of shoe imaginable and as of this past year developed plantar fasciitis. All the things I have complained about a shoe not having, I have found in this shoe. This has the best arch support. It is like the footbed was molded especially for my feet. It has a decent amount of cushioning and big one-shock absorption. I questioned the outsole on it, but so far it has held up. I take my dog for walks. Well more like he takes me for walks and the traction is phenomenal, especially when he is pulling me on wet, slick terrains. This shoe has me sold forever. I have already bought 3 backups for fear that they will quit making this and I will not be able to ...Ā MoreListen I have worked in the medical profession for 20 years and it has destroyed my feet. I like this generation, but Iām a bigger fan of the Infinity 2 for reasons that may or may not be important to you. Regardless itās a very worthy shoe.Iām generally not a fan of flyknit for any athletic shoe due to the lack of support. While very comfortable, you can really only run in a straight line. Tight turns are totally out of the question and even moderate curves I can still feel my foot sliding in the shoe and edging toward a rolled ankle. The 2 also had a supple upper, but there was definitely more support, so turns were much more manageable. I absolutely would not ever recommend taking these on trail runs. I think youāre asking for trouble if you do.I like the soles on these better than the 2, though. I think youāre asking for trouble if you do.I like the soles on these better than the 2, though. Full sheet of rubber coverage on the bottom with thin nubs for extra wear resistance. The 2 has a cool design on the sole, but I knew I was going to wear through, which I eventually did. I think these will last quite a bit longer.Lastly, the Infinity 2 had a rounder shape to the foam in the sole that lent itself to rolling weight transfer if you ever find yourself heel striking. The 4 also has a round shape, but the center has a longer flat patch which feels more stable. Not sure Iād call it better or worse, just different.Either way, these are still great running shoes and looking forward to logging a few hundred miles on āem
I started wearing NIKE last year after developing Achilles tendinosis and all the other shoes just didn't work without adding a heel lift or insole. Started with ZoomX Invincible just a hail mary. Ohmygosh! Made running more enjoyable again. Found about this InfinityRN on IG. Ordered a pair on sale just to try in normal running size W 9.5. Did well on short runs up to 6 miles. Started getting numbness and tingling. Came and tried a W 10 and M 8.5. Ordered both to give a try. I mean they are nice colorways for walking around and recovery š . Training for a Full marathon and think I am sticking with the M 8.5!! I like way the hug my feet without added pressure from swelling. I think the upper could be a bit more breathable. I am heavier about 200lbs and don't feel like the cushion wears away fast. I do rotate ny women's for shorter runs and men's for longer. Oh bought the Gortex model too!
So, I have a pair, size 10.5, of the InfinityRN4 GORE-TEX and absolutely love them. I ordered this, Flyknit upper running shoe, a half size up as recommended, and am happy I did. The ultra-comfortable collar and tongue enables a snug fit with flexibility. The ReactX in the midsole makes it feel as though youāre walking on air. I think the Waffle outsole will make this InfinityRN4 way go to for my Tempo Runs; Especially during transitioning from paved to gravel paths and vice versa. Though keep in mind they will stretch a bit after you run in them, and may become too loose.I think Nikeās design intent for these is to make a running show that is comfortable and conforming. Thus, making them feel almost non-existent.
The shoe fits almost like a sock and stretches with your footās movement which gives it a nice snug fit. The midsole cushion is amazing. However would like to see more arch support and more cushion in the toe box area. Definitely take the advice and order a half size up per the online recommendation. These definitely run smaller than most shoes due to the stretch fabric design. They are water resistant to a certain extent but not āwaterproofā like the Goretex version which would make this the ultimate running shoe. However the Goretex model is limited to only a few color options so thatās why I stuck with these. Overall a really comfortable and lightweight shoe with good color options to choose from. Very happy with my choice.
I prefer Nike shoes but had been purchasing other running shoes due to a lack of availability with Wide sizes that also looked good in addition to functionality.I spotted this shoe & it WAS available in WIDE and it has been a great purchase!Super comfortable and supportive! These are really cool shoes! The tongue design really lends the shoe to a nice, secure, and flexible fit. My initial reaction when putting these shoes on right out of the box was that they were really flexible and responsive shoes. So, from there, I laced these bad boys up and took them straight outside for an easy 2mile run. When I started running, I was a bit fearful of the snug fit. Yes, the notes/additional information about the shoe says they're a sung fit and nike recommends ordering a size up... but I didn't see that. You can't expect me to read that closely while buying shoes! However, I think nike is right about this, if you don't like a really close second skin/sock type fit, you should certainly go up a half a size. However, I think nike is right about this, if you don't like a really close second skin/sock type fit, you should certainly go up a half a size. But as I continued running, the feel really grew on me. They feel snug without being suffocating or binding if that makes sense. The ReactX foam underfoot was very springy and responsive. because they were so soft and spongy, I don't think I would wear these for long grueling runs or runs where your pace is steady, upright, and comfortable (like a noncompetitive 10k run). With such a soft springy underfoot, they seem a bit unstable for a full foot cycle through type run, but I feel like these would be perfect for a quick 5k or a 1600m race pace street run. I ran my 2mile run at a VERY comfortable 12:30 min mile pace. I ran too slow and upright to let these shoes really shine. I will definitely be taking these back out and paying them the respect they deserve. All in all, these are great shoes for the price. I would certainly recommend them.
Running is something that I felt like I couldn't or shouldn't really do for awhile but it turns out that I've just been buying the wrong type of shoes.I was very rough on my body when I was younger which resulted in a microfracture surgery on my right knee and currently dealing with a fractured sesamoid on my right foot , so as you can imagine running would usually result in a good bit of pain.I went to a running store and had my feet scanned to help me with running since I overpronate and some shoes aggravate these injuries but just couldn't buy any of the ugly shoes they recommended. I asked ChatGPT for a Nike equivalent to the recommended Brooks and Hoka shoes and landed here. This shoe is amazing, they're basically black magic. Don't hesitate ,make the purchase and you really won't regret it.
