A Fantastic Shoe for Day to Day Training Runs
I picked up a pair of these to replace my Pegasus 40's on regular training runs and must say I'm really pleased with them. What are they like to wear? They seem ideal for easy paced training runs and are cushioned enough for regular use, really "taking care" of your feet. They feel very stable underfoot with a nice heel to toe rocking motion and good grip which seems, to me at least, to encourage better running form. What about the fit?It was recommended to go up half a size and I'm glad that I did. Nike are usually spot on size wise but these do feel fairly closed in around the toes and the upper is snug against the foot.Anything else to note? That snug upper does make these Infinity Run Flyknit 4's a warm shoe. Best shoes since Free RN
I combed through the reviews before purchasing, and I’m so thankful I took a chance. These are the best shoes I’ve had in over a decade since the Free RNs! I have several issues that affect my feet (fibromyalgia, arthritis, previous injuries) that cause me to experience pain, numbness, and tingling. I can tell the difference when I’m wearing these and when I’m not. I can now walk longer distances, stand for longer periods of time, and almost walk barefoot at home. I love them so much I bought two colors and recommend them to everyone. Every time I receive a compliment, I physically take the shoe off, let them feel how light it is, send them discounts and coupons, and rave about how this is my favorite shoe. I recommend looking at the size chart then going a half ... MoreI combed through the reviews before purchasing, and I’m so thankful I took a chance. Bulky and excessive heel
Stay away if you are a woman with bigger feet. These are ugly, ugly, ugly on me. The way the heel sticks out an extra half an inch or so makes your feet look grotesquely HUGE. I look like I'm wearing size 13 men's and I'm a woman's 10. These are NOT it for women with feet bigger than a size 7. Reviews say size up half and a lot said a whole size. I tried a whole size up to 11 and that was absolutely the wrong decision, it was so big and wide. I tried the 10.5 and the fit was better but still wide. I did not feel tightness or a snug fit across the top like others are mentioning. In fact, I was a bit worried that the material would stretch and loosen with wear, plus the wide toe box for me, that I almost wanted to stay true to size 10. For the sake of allowing room ... For the sake of allowing room for swelling I would have kept the 10.5 if I liked them. They are unnecessarily bulky and huge. They are uncomfortable and instantly gave me shin splints just from walking up and down my hallway. I really don't get the hype with these. NOTHING wow'd me about them. You want to walk on clouds? By far my favorite shoes
Listen I have worked in the medical profession for 20 years and it has destroyed my feet. I have tried almost every brand of shoe imaginable and as of this past year developed plantar fasciitis. All the things I have complained about a shoe not having, I have found in this shoe. This has the best arch support. It is like the footbed was molded especially for my feet. It has a decent amount of cushioning and big one-shock absorption. I questioned the outsole on it, but so far it has held up. I take my dog for walks. Well more like he takes me for walks and the traction is phenomenal, especially when he is pulling me on wet, slick terrains. This shoe has me sold forever. I have already bought 3 backups for fear that they will quit making this and I will not be able to ... MoreListen I have worked in the medical profession for 20 years and it has destroyed my feet. Horrible tongue design, makes my feet hurt
For the last 10 years I've worn nothing but Nikes in this style and Pegasus. Cute shoes, nice color selection, but I've never had a shoe make the sides of the balls of my feet burn when walking long distances. The tongue design is what I hate the most! It's rippled and there is a thick seam where the shoe string first crosses the shoe towards the toe end. I have narrow feet which fit great in this shoe, but I have to keep them laced so loosely or else I get sores on the top of my foot. It makes you feel like your sock is bunch up and putting pressure on your foot, but it's the tongue. Currently looking for a new shoe. Nike offers a 60 day return if you aren't happy with the shoe, but Dicks doesn't honor that.... Show more

Not impressed with top design.
I purchased this sneaker along with 4 others for Christmas. I didn’t wear them until the spring because I live in Boston. For what I paid, I’m not impressed with these sneakers. The bottoms are very comfortable but the top where the shoe lace ends and connects to the tongue which is attached to the sneaker in a different manor. The entire tongue is attached and connects at the bottom (on the inside). I put them on, felt great. However, I didn’t wear them for more than 5 minutes when I got them. Now that I have worn them for a longer time, I get a horrible pain on the top of each foot exactly where the end of the laces on the left side. I can feel the material over lapping there and the tongue ends there also so on each foot it happens to land on the vein in the top ... MoreI purchased this sneaker along with 4 others for Christmas. I can feel the material over lapping there and the tongue ends there also so on each foot it happens to land on the vein in the top of my feet. The right one hurts more, probably because I’m a righty. I purchased shoe stretchers but they haven’t helped. It’s not the length, it’s the part where the tongue ends and the shoe laces begin. It maybe just how my feet are….Also, I’m not impressed with how hard it is to keep them clean and once dirt does get on the top material, it’s very difficult to get clean. I have shoe wash, spot remover, etc.I wore them twice and had to wash them after the second wear. I first attempted to spot clean the toes but it didn’t take the dirt out so I washed them and used a stain remover but the dirt still was not completely off. I’m thinking of bleaching them but afraid it will turn the sole yellow. I got the grey ones with pink and purple on the sole with white soles. I don’t see that color so I hit anyone to write this review. I typically love Nike but this sneaker needs to be redesigned on the top. The bottoms are great. For the price, I expected a lot better quality. I love my Nike torch sneakers which I had for three years now and they still look decent and I paid a lot less for those ones. Please do something about the tongue, material (stain wise) and laces. I wish the laces started further down the sneaker, closer to the toe and the tongue wasn’t attached along the sides and to the bottom. If you have a short and little bit wider foot than someone with long slender feet than I would make sure to walk around your house for a while before deciding to keep these. Also, if you have a high arch, than it may cause the same issue. I’m not sure if it’s due to where my veins are located or not. I would advise wearing for a hour.... Show more

Runs super small and is uncomfortable
I was really excited to purchase these shoes because I wanted a second pair of walking shoes and these seemed to fit the bill in terms of comfort and look. I currently wear the Nike Space Hippie 04s, which I love, but wanted to add some variety. I walk 3-4 miles a day, so a comfortable walking shoe is very important to me. Based on the reviews, I ordered 1/2 size up. I wear a 6.5 and ordered a 7. My toes were all the way to the top of the shoe in the 7’s, so I returned those and ordered a 7.5. The 7.5 fit better but when I walked in them, they weren’t super comfortable and definitely didn’t feel like $160 shoes. My feet aren’t wide but the shoes felt extremely narrow. For $160, I expected a lot more, especially since my Space Hippies, at the time of purchase, were $120 and are much more comfortable. Maybe third time would have been a charm if I had ordered 1 1/2 sizes up but I wasn’t willing to chance it, again.... Show more

Shoe laces cut off circulation due to poor design
Shoe laces are a big design mistake! The way the laces are designed, they are limited in length (foot size : length ratio is off) and are also made of different material than traditional laces which makes the pressure of the laces more acute. For those people whose feet tend to swell a bit whether after intense exercise or in hot weather, this shoe lace design cuts off circulation. Was very excited about these at first, looked great, spent the money to customize them, but upon wearing them to the gym, after 2k m of rowing, I couldn’t feel my feet because the circulation at the top was almost cut off by the tight shoe lace. I had them loosened to the max, and still practically cannot wear them more than 1-2 hrs. Not made for exercise or long distance at all.... Show more

The most comfortable sneaker I ever owned
For the past 5 yrs Ive been wearing the Pegasus 35 since I have not been able to find a comparable pair in terms of comfort. Even the newer Pegasus were not as comfortable. I even tried the Nike Invincible 3 which have a defect as they slip off my foot and were not comfortable for running or even walking. Just when I had given up on my search, I came across these and to my surprise they are even better than my Pegasus 35!! They have the same comfy slipper feel along with some extra cushion. Feels like you’re walking on a cloud of comfort. You honestly forget you are wearing anything on your feet, they are just that comfy!! I am normally a 7.5-8 and opted for the 8 which is perfect. I am obsessed with the comfort and so glad my search is finally over!!... Show more

Very Comfortable Casual Running Shoe
I typically use my treadmill for walk/run workouts three to four times per week. I received these shoes in my normal running shoe size and I found them true to size. I didn’t need any break-in time and I was able to wear them for a full workout without any unusual discomfort. I really like the upper because it provided both comfort and stability. It feels very adaptable to the shape of my foot without the rigidity that some running shoes have. I also appreciated the cushioning that seemed appropriate for a casual runner like me without being too much. I didn’t feel any rubbing or pinching and traction felt good too. The design is pretty basic. Nothing really stands out but it’s pleasant looking. The sole is not overly thick but definitely noticeable because of the ... The sole is not overly thick but definitely noticeable because of the stark color difference between the black upper and white sole. I wore these shoes for multiple runs and they seem to be durable. No scuffs or tears yet. Judging by the quality of the materials, I don’t expect any visible wear anytime soon. Overall, I really like these running shoes. They give me all the functionality that I need to feel comfortable and supported. If I had to pick something to change, I would add some more design features like a pop of color on the logo. From a functional standpoint, I have no complaints.... Show more
