Appreciate the durability and versatility

I gave these a shot because I've been gravitating toward wider, more cargo style pants and seeing them well styled lately. I'm a slim guy and ordered the medium size, standard fit M J ESS STMT CHICAGO PANT.Some pros from me:- I love the button plus the draw string to keep them secure around the waist, so no need for a belt- They feel well made with any string/tie elements durable and not at risk of over-wearing or snapping- Love the drawstring ties at the ankles. Gives the pants much more versatility in pairing with the shoes in my closet (I tend to gravitate toward simple, low profile sneakers). The ability to cinch the pant legs at the angles is why I originally wanted to give this style of pant a shot in the first place.- Large, secure pocket spaces. The ability to cinch the pant legs at the angles is why I originally wanted to give this style of pant a shot in the first place.- Large, secure pocket spaces. Plenty of room to store whatever you might be carrying. Also like that the thigh cargo pockets are angled at ~45 degrees--giving the pants a more modern, unique profile than standard cargo pants. Some cons:- Personal preference--but the cut of the pant, particularly when the ankles aren't cinched at the bottom, are wider than I tend to gravitate toward. But as I mentioned--I'm a slim guy so imagine this cut is inline with what others might prefer.- The material feels fairly standard and similar to what you'd seen in a chino pant. I was hoping for something maybe a bit more lightweight and breathable to match the sort of athletic look of the overall pant. Full disclosure--I just moved to Los Angeles so feel I might have only a few days to comfortably wear these out given the heat and weight of the material.- Would have appreciated some elasticity from the waist draw strings. The ankle draw strings--while helpful and well made--would also be easier to use in my opinion if it utilized a plastic cord lock, versus two strings needing to be tight together to secure the bottom of the pant leg.The overall look and feel--for me--is a durable cargo pant with a more athletic look and options to wear different ways, thanks to the ability to cinch the ankles. I'd pair with some simple sneakers and a sweatshirt/hooded sweatshirt for cooler fall days.

At first glance I almost didn't notice these were cargo pants, but once you get them in hand they have some built in ergonomic cargo pockets. Those combined with the modern camo blocking make these some great updated style cargo pants. The waist fit is true to size, extra comfy being both an elastic waist and zipper/ button fly. And even has drawstrings in the waist to tighten up or let hang. I've found it hard to determine sizing for drawstring pants, but these are spot on medium waist with a regular fit through the leg. Normally I size up for a slightly looser leg, but not needed for these. Length is a little long, but that is typical for most pants, I'm also shorter in height. Easy hem will fix that.Material is solid and durable feel. All the pockets are just the right size and the modern cargo pockets almost act like they're not even there. Will definitely wear these for all occasions

These pants are a solid addition to the wardrobe. The versatility of these allows them to be dressed up or down, depending on the vibe you're going for. The camo pattern has a nice updated twist on it, so these feel classic but still very fresh for current fashion trends. These pants fit pretty baggy in the legs, but the waist seems to be pretty true to size. In addition, there is a draw string on the inside of the pants that allow for an additional tailored fit in the waist. Overall, I'd recommend these if you're considering them!

High quality
23 July 2023

These pants are super high quality and could be worn in any number of circumstances. The fabric is durable and looks nice. The pockets are nice and flat and don’t look like cargo pants, which I was afraid of. The pants fit a little snug on me in the waist. This was disappointing since I got the biggest size available. The hey have very little give which I love as far as quality, but dislike as far as fit! I would absolutely get these again if they had one size up for me. I think they will last for a very long time and be used often.

Jordan Cargo Pants - Ok, not great
23 October 2024

Things I like about the Jordan Essentials Chicago Cargo Pants:- The camo pattern is cool- The fabric is durable and has a nice weight to it- The pockets are roomy and hold things well. I did not experience my headphones or lip balm falling out of the pockets, which happens with some other pants- The back pockets were nice and easy to store my phone and walletThings that could be improved about the Jordan Essentials Chicago Cargo Pants:- The pants were way too long. I have short legs, but I had to cuff the pants twice, taking off about 10" of length- The inside drawstring fastening is awkward to use. It's hard to get tight enough because it runs up against your stomach, as opposed to if it was on the outside of the pant- I expected there to be small ... MoreThings I like about the Jordan Essentials Chicago Cargo Pants:- The camo pattern is cool- The fabric is durable and has a nice weight to it- The pockets are roomy and hold things well. Missed opportunity for storytelling- The fabric wrinkles easily and is not very breathable. I found myself sweating while taking a walk on a 75 degree day- The openings to the cargo pants pockets are hard to navigate. Because there's no zipper or button fastening in the opening, it can be hard to move your hard around the fabric covering of the opening

Jordan Chicago Cargo Pants
23 October 2024

I gave these Jordan Chicago Cargo Pants a four star review mainly for their ability to go with any outfit. These pants are true to size; my legs are very short and the pants are a little long on me, so they should fit most people's standard size. The adjustable waist strap with shiny tips adds a small touch of flair. I would rather the Jordan logo have the same shine so that it would "pop". The color combination makes it easy to style with a graphic tee and your favorite shoes, especially if you are a sneakerhead. The fabric feels very durable and of high quality. Great product, I may get these in green as well!

Not Quite Jeans
25 October 2024

These pants feel somewhat similar to jeans, but I found the overall fit to be awkward and less comfortable than jeans. The pants are very baggy and run long, but fit in the waist, which make them look odd when wearing them. I also found that they get overly tight when moving despite the baggy fit. Overall, this might be a good product for those it fits better, but unfortunately for me, I find the pants not worth the price.

Pocketful of comfy
26 July 2023

I love that the pants are comfortable around the waste and a little stretchy. The material feels soft and not scratchy even though there are so many pockets. I appreciate the pockets because I am a teacher and need places to hold my materials. The design is easy to use, however since it's the summer, I only have been using it in an air conditioned building. The height of the pants is just right for me and I like that it's not too tight. The only thing I find annoying is that it catches fur like crazy. I have two cats, so whenever they rub against it, the pants become fur pants. I have to use a lint roller to take majority of the fur, but it's incredibly sticky. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing.

Really nice pants

I really like this Jordan Essentials Chicago.I'm a 5'5" guy who likes to wear a little over size but this time I order a medium and the ones I get feels like a large but I'm not disappointed at all because that's the way I like my clothes. The fabric feels so strong that you can probably take it to work and still make it last for a long time, the first time you wear it it's hard and rough, but it would come lose and softer once you are wearing it. They have a pocket on each side like cargo pants but they're not sticking out, so you don't have a bump on it and on my opinion looks better like this, also the pockets don't have a zipper but the way they are made you can still put stuff on it and not worry about to loosing it, it's probably my favorite part of this ... MoreI really like this Jordan Essentials Chicago.I'm a 5'5" guy who likes to wear a little over size but this time I order a medium and the ones I get feels like a large but I'm not disappointed at all because that's the way I like my clothes. Grab your self a pair, you will not be disappointed.

Cargo pants. They have been out of style for the last decade or so. So why not try to make a comeback with cargo pants, only take away everything about them that worked to begin with? That’s what they have done here. I cannot think of a body type these would look pleasant on.Maybe I’m not fashion forward enough, but I can’t see these pants being for anyone other than the super trendy and being able to pull off their own look.
