Nike KD 12 90s Kid

(38 reviews)

A color combination of metallic silver, yellow, and white, among others, define the outside appearance of the Nike KD 12 90s Kid. This "90s Kid" Nike KD 12 features a mesh upper with a design that pays tribute to Kevin Durant's childhood. The shoe embraces a vibrant color palette that captures the spirit of the '90s era. Adding an artistic touch, the heel of the shoe displays graffiti-inspired detailing. For enhanced support and stability, the shoe incorporates four-way directional Flywire cables that secure the foot. The Zoom Air unit is positioned directly beneath the sock liner, providing responsive cushioning. What our experts found outstanding is that the combination of nostalgic design elements and performance features on the Nike KD 12 "90s Kid" makes it a stylish shoe. The Nike KD 12 90s Kid became available on the market on April 1, 2019, with $150 as the recommended retail value.

Best Baskeball Shoe I've Purcahsed in 2019

I research basketball shoes before I purchase them, usually 2-3 months in advance. It is a big investment to find the right basketball shoe that offers comfort, support,
traction, durability, lockdown, premium materials, lightweight and full length cushioning to boot! The shoe is true to size and very comfortable. There is no break-in time, just
put it on and hit the courts. The full length zoom and the ankle support eliminated my need to wear ankle wraps. I actually use these shoes for volleyball now because they
offer that added support, cushioning and bounce in my jumps. These shoes were so nice, I am glad I picked up 3 pairs. I plan on picking up another pair of KD12... Show more

What an amazing basketball performance shoe! I've tried a lot of Nike basketball shoes and this is by far the best! It's low to the ground and not clunky like last year's model. I
don't notice I am wearing a shoe. The traction is amazing it bites hard! Even for a translucent, rubber, it is hard and the groves are deep, and so far holding up great! The full
length zoom is amazing as always, however I wish they would have used React foam or Cushlon instead of Phylon. To me it is a step back from last year, since last years
model had react and full length zoom witch was more comfortable. However no strubble board is amazing and makes up a little for this! Nike you need to do thi... Show more

So this review unfortunately is not about the actual sneaker, but Dicks online service. I bought these shoes for my sons 13th birthday and wrapped them straight from the
shipping box. When he opened them, they were covered on the inside with black pet fur!!! He was disgusted. I was mortified. When products are returned to the warehouse
they should be checked before restocked!

Nike you need to do this for all your full length zoom shoes! The lockdown is amazing in these too! The multi directional flywire is cool and works! Idk why they went away from Flyknit other than they wanted you to see the new flywire system. The laces are nice and man can you get them tied down hard for great lockdown. Only thing is they are narrow, but I've got those kd feet anyways. I wear a 13.5 and it's perfect true to size. If you have wide feet maybe stay away or go try them on first! Nike you keep getting better and that's what separates you from your competition! Checks over strips! Lol... Show more

Great for hoops or everyday wear
30 November 2019
I am 5'11" and 215 lbs and live very active lifestyle. My workout includes running and basketball. These shoes are great for anything. For me, these shoes fit true to size. I also like how there is lots of room in the toe box, as I have wide feet. Holds the heel very well compared to most basketball shoes.... Show more

Great shoe for serious players!!!!
10 November 2019
I'm really picking when it comes to my shoes. But the kd 12 are probably one of the best basketball shoes I have ever owned. This is not just a show boat shoe, for just looking good. The shoe is light and quick and has great traction. And I love the zoom air pockets, they are awsome for support and comfort.More less if your a serious baller who loves to play and win, these are the shoes for you!!!... IMPACT PROTECTION & MAX CUSHION
18 April 2019
I own a pair of KD 9, 10, and 11’s and let me say this is the best of the four. The traction (on a good court) was solid. The cushion is ridiculously nice and the impact protection is truly knee preserving! I’m a more mature ball player, so I look for extreme comfort, bounce, and impact protection and these delivered all. The KD 12’s have surpassed the Lebron 15’s which were super nice in all three areas. The only downside, the shoes are not as aesthetically appeasing as the recent versions - they look plain but future versions like the “Eye-Ball” edition will statisfy that deficiency. I’m a 5’9 PG and they really work my style of play - Tenacious defender, ball pusher, quick pop, and long ball! Have fun court warriors! They’re durable too!... Show more

Length was right, width was not.
30 January 2020
I have worn size 13 shoes for a long time. But these shoes came in and right away I noticed how tight they were in the toe box. These shoes run narrow in the toe box. My feet are between a normal and wide size for width and these shoes rubbed on my pinky toe pretty hard. Pretty bummed I was excited about these. They felt comfortable until a couple games in and I just realized that they were too narrow.... Show more

Poorly made.
7 April 2020
I guess it's not to say that it's poorly made as much as to say that the little features on it. Little paper logos are like tags and they are somehow supposed to stay on the shoe? mine tore off while playing. After a month of straight wearing them playing, I thought that my shoe would fit more to my foot. not true it has stayed narrow and after playing only eight times my shoe already has a hole in it at the toe cap in the material. This is a poorly made shoe that I would not recommend playing with unless you have an incredibly narrow foot and don't mind some corny features on your shoe.... Show more

The color
4 February 2020
When I open the box. The color(orange/red) confused me the color was brighter than I expected. Now I'm thinking do I have top that matches these shoes. The shopaholic, I am lucky I had a few things instead of all black or white to wear with them. Other than the colors that caught me off guard, I really like them. They feel good and they get attention. I am happy with the purchase.... Show more

The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
3 November 2019
These shoes not only deliver on-court, but they're also amazing shoes in general. I personally have wide feet, so most shoes don't fit me exactly the way I want them to, but once these broke in, I fell in love. The immediate underfoot Zoom Air is brilliant and it is awesome to feel it squish as you step. The lockdown is perfect, not too tight, not too free. I've worn many kicks, but these are by far the best. No hesitation.... Show more
