I am a 60+ active woman, and give shoes a good workout. The Nike Legend Essential 2 measured up to my picky standards. I can feel the support as soon as I put them on and especially like the support I can feel around the top half of my foot when they're tied. They provide great support during 2+ hour indoor pickleball rounds, and stay comfortable and light through all-day wear. The soles don't slip on the wood pickleball floors and are flexible enough for quick movements and landings without compromising support. My first impression about the Nike Legend Essential 2 was the classic clean style. The pair I received was black and white which is usually my go to colors. I love colors that can go with most any outfit whether it be working out, or running errands around town. The fit was perfect and overall was very comfortable. My feet never felt clammy or sweaty. The stretch they give made them feel almost broken in although I had only worn them a just a few times. The only complaint I have is after a few hours of wearing them the back heel collar was rubbing on my ankle which made it very sore. I was wearing ankle socks so until you break in the shoes I would suggest wearing high ankle socks. Other than that, I was very pleased with the shoes. I am excited to break them in ... The flexible, yet sturdy soles provide the grip I need while keeping my feet supported and secure. The breathable material allowed my feet to breathe and kept my feet dry during intense workouts.Upon first use, the shoes felt a little snug both in length and in width. My daughter was needing a good tennis shoe that she could use for sports. We didn't have time to just got store to store looking for THE RIGHT PAIR. The online photos that finish line have for the shoes were spot on and when the shoe came in we were not disappointed by quality or the look of it at all. They were EXACTLY what she wanted. Very disappointed with these shoes. They feel so cheap and plastic. I wanted to love these but I barely used them now, the sole started to unglue after 1 use walking for less than 30 min with my dog, yeah after 1 USE. I only wore them 2 more times after then and just because I had to wash my other white shoes I use everyday. I really wish I returned these, but I missed the time frame since I was on a trip. If you want good quality shoes stay away from these. To me, they’re a waste of money and they really make me question the quality of Nike these days.
Great workout shoe. I wear these to the gym to lift weights. They have great support and traction. My feet do not slip. They are lightweight and very comfortable. I am going to buy a second pair. I sized up a half size which is pretty typical for me in athletic and fitness shoes.
These are listed as workout shoes and I was impressed by the price, so I bought them with the intent to wear as gym shoes. I ordered my normal size 8.5 but will be returning them due to a poor fit. I have narrow feet but these shoes run VERY narrow. The material isn’t very stretchy so they feel tight all around, particularly in the toe box. I personally prefer more room for my toes for better stability for squats, deadlifts, etc so this shoe isn’t it for me.
