A great shoe for the office and beyond
I am really happy with the Chron 2 shoes, and have been wearing them multiple times a week since I received them. I am a size 11, and these shoes fit well and are true to size. The lower cut around the ankles is comfortable and looks great. I work in an office setting with casual dress, and these shoes are very comfortable for my day-to-day, and sleek and professional enough for the environment. I enjoy the simple design of the shoe, as it pairs well with most things I wear. The only thing I would change is to make the sole of the shoe slightly thinner, as a more slim profile is my preference, but it doesn’t detract from the overall appearance. The Chron 2’s are one of my go-to shoes and I recommend them.... Show more

Casual classics
These are great sneakers. I have worn these just about every day since receiving them. They are classic and versatile, and look awesome with shorts. Of course the black option goes with everything. These Nikes are pretty true to size. It took me about two wears to break them in, and then they felt less stiff and became very comfy. They fit like a glove. The materials are nice, and they seem like they will hold up well. The only thing I would change about these sneakers is that the black canvas seems to show dirt/dust pretty easily. It shows up as a hazy white. Not a problem once you come to terms with them not looking sparkly new any longer ;-)... Show more

Comes apart on both foot knuckle bone.
Feels good and looks good but over half a year, I have been seeing the stitching being pulled apart on both pairs of these shoes. I barely go skating, I don’t work out in them, I mostly walk. They have been coming apart just where your feet start to cress the shoes. More specifically on both side of the out side of the tarsals (foot knuckle bone)... Show more

Extremely comfortable
I received this product as a promotional item for my boyfriend. That being said he absolutely loves them and wears the shoes everyday for work. This is his review."The shoes are surprisingly supportive and cushioned for my heels. Especially since i stand for 8-9 hrs a day. It has a thick padded sole but yet the shoe is pretty light weight, due to it being made of mostly canvas, mesh and a little suede.Initially I was a little apprehensive about trying them on since i have wide feet, and the shoe looked a little narrow. But after slipping them on. It was surprisingly wide enough to fit my feet width. But although it wouldnt hurt for it to be made in a wider width. I know its is supposed to be a skater shoes. Good for old people with bad feet!
These shoes are incredible. I’ll admit. I’m just a 40 year old woman that doesn’t skate, but I’m always looking for the perfect minimalist shoes to wear with everything. I get tired of having to buy really expensive shoes that give me the comfort and support my overpronating feet need. I expected to have to put my orthopedic inserts in these and was praying I wouldn’t hate the fit like Converse or Vans. They’re more comfortable than my granny Taos shoes and the insert is almost perfect. It’s soft but supportive and angled with a little height in the heel, like most inserts. It’s so good I basically just had to put a little folded tissue underneath the insert at the arch and now I don’t have to use my inserts at all. I can’t get over how good they feel. I also like ... I also like that they’re a little wider. No matter how skinny I am, I am always a wide. These are clearly a bit wider for a women’s fit. I bought a half size bigger (7 women’s when I usually wear 6.5) and I could have gotten away with the 6.5 for a snug fit but I like the tiny bit of extra room in the 7s. If you’re old like me and are tired of only being able to wear regular people shoes a few times, these are what you want!... Show more

'If these shoes were a Lionel Richie song they'd be "all night long".
I want to wear these shoes all night long! The most comfortable shoes I have ever put on for the first time and had no issues at all. The insole of these shoes is unlike any other i've tried even from Nike. While its not a super stylish shoe its a classic design that anyone who loves the Nike brand would be interested in. Classic colors with the classic Nike swoosh symbol on the side.....what more could you want? I find that anytime I have to go out to run errands with my children, going to work, or out to eat I grab these shoes. They are that comfortable that I look forward to wearing them. I've had Nikes before that were just okay, so I'm not always a fan of everything Nike but these are the real deal. The only thing I would ask for is some more wild Nike color ... Lightweight Sneaker
The Nike Chron 2 canvas skate shoe is a classic design with a lightweight feel. I ordered a size 11, which I usually wear in athletic shoes but could have sized down to a 10-1/2 for a better fit since I wear thinner socks with these. I wore these as a casual shoe on the weekends and they were pretty comfortable. I don’t know how I’d hold up with lots of standing around in them though since there isn’t much arch support. They looked good with jeans and would be good with shorts when it warms up.The top of the shoe is a thick canvas and has a raised stitching design around the front, back, and sides. The Nike logo is leather so it has some contrast. The bottom of the shoe is black and has the Nike logo with lots of traction. What I most like about the Chron 2 shoes ... I also like that the style is easy to wear with most things I own. These are comfortable enough to run errands in and seem like they are easy to keep clean or wash.... Show more

My new go to skate shoe
For years on years I have been using Janoski as skate and everyday shoes. The only problem I really had with the was the slimness of them. I have a bit wider foot.So it would always be 2 weeks of pain breaking in the shoes. Then I came by the Nike Chron, witch was just wide enough to have no pain out of the box. Some of the Chrons have canvas fabric, witch makes them breathe really good on a hot summers day. I also really like the the support around the ankles isn't to high up on the knuckle. But the best part of the shoe is the skate insole, witch is designed to take the beating skateboarding hands out. This has become my new go to shoe, whether it be skating or everyday life walking around the city.... Show more

REVIEW FROM ACTUAL SKATER!!!
I’ve skated in these and the Nike Heritage Vulc and I personally like these a lot more than the Heritage. I’m in between size 8.5 and 9 with bad flat feet so sizing is always a gamble but I found the size 8.5 for the Chron2 fit great all around, where the Heritage 8.5 was very tight in the arch and forefoot area making me size up to a 9, but this left too much open area at the toe for an awkward fit…Skateable but awkward. The sole surface area seems slightly wider in the Chron2 so this accommodates my flat feet better. Also, the insole in the Chron2 is WAYYY more comfortable than the Heritage thin insole. Chron2 is canvas where the Heritage is suede with the durability being slightly better with suede IMO but Nike does make a Chron2 in suede so there’s that route if ...
