He also noted that the sole of the cleat was thinner than what he was used to or at least it felt that way.Overall he rated this cleat around a 3 and would change the slim width of the cleat and the sole thickness. He suggested maybe adding a memory foam insert.to help with the comfort level. He did love the subtleness of the color scheme and the sleek design making them easier to wear without being too flashy.

With the minimalist style, striking the ball felt very similar to being barefoot; however, this also meant it took a little more control for juggling and strikes. The single lightweight spine underneath took some time to get used to and I noticed some instability with side to side movement. The only other downside is the material looks impressive but may not be the most durable. I noticed wear on the studs after just a twenty minute pick-up game; I can only imagine how they will look at the end of the full season. If you want a shoe to do long balls or crosses, this probably is not the best for you. However, if you want good ball control and precise strikes, then this shoe would be perfect.

Hello, all who are reading this review! Allow me to talk a little bit about myself, I go to the gym every day, and I would typically do strength training with weights 5 days out of the week. And For the other 2 days, are my cardio days and typically I would do outdoor activities. I have recently taken up soccer and these are my first pair of soccer cleats ever. The design is lightweight and very comfortable. It feels as if I wore soccer cleats my entire life, it is a snug fit when I first used them but after a day of soccer, the cleats felt perfect on my feet. And since I am new to soccer I just wore regular socks with them, it wasn’t a big deal for me but having the right socks did alleviate the problem immediately.I would also like to mention it comes with a beautifully designed bag which allows you to hold your cleats in them. The bag design itself matched the cleat's colorway which gave it that extra flare when walking on and off the field.Overall these soccer cleats are well worth the investment if you are looking for a lightweight, comfortable, and good grip I cannot recommend these enough.

These shoes look amazing and perform well on the pitch. At first, they took some time to break in and are definitely very tight around the arch. For controlling the ball this is ideal however it took some time for them to break in. Once they did however they were great to play in.The contours of the shoe help maximize touch on the ball and allow you to feel very subtle touches more distinctly. The spikes themselves are very sturdy and have enough depth to grip the pitch even in rough conditions such as muddy/wet conditions.Overall these shows held up well after a few months of use. It would be nice if there was a bit more padding to help reduce the rigid feel from the spikes but still very comfortable to play in once broken in after a few sessions. The material ... I am overall impressed with these Vapor 14 Elite FG with how easily they can be put on and the design of the cleat's. The cleats are as easily as putting socks on. They fit overall good. Not tight on the feet and space for your toes. They are pretty comfortable on the feet for day use.The bottom design is another thing I'm totally digging. The special designed plate under the cleat helps improve your speed and ability to hit those corners faster. To me when I'm running with these Vapor 14 Elite, I feel like a cheetah running. You can totally feel how the bottom plates dig into the ground and improve your speed.The material is very well breathable allowing your feet to stay cool. Starting off, when I saw the box it was a pleasant surprise to find that it was not the standard orange Nike box but that it was silver. Opening up the box it was a great addition having the draw string bag and I have used it everyday to bring the cleats with me to trainings and games. As someone that has gone through countless pairs of cleats and is used to having to break them in for at-least a week I was shocked at the level of comfort that the Mercurial Vapor’s had straight out of the box. The upper is extremely soft, molds to your foot, and creates a glove like experience for your feet as it feels completely wrapped around and locked in. The comfort has been incredible and the more and more that I wear the cleats the more and more that I love them. They are ... The comfort has been incredible and the more and more that I wear the cleats the more and more that I love them. They are easy to put on and take off, but once they are on your foot is secure and in place. The stud pattern feels quite aggressive and made me feel like I had an extra millisecond exploding forward. In addition, I felt that the stud length was slightly longer than other cleats I have previously used and I find it to be helpful when playing in thick grass or turf. Another thing that I have been surprised by is that even after most likely 20-25 wears and each wear for about 2 hours the cleats have almost zero signs of wear or distress. The upper is still perfectly glued to the outsole, the upper it’s self has no scratches or marks, the only thing that I have noticed is that the little sticker at the top of the tongue has lifted slightly in the middle only on the right cleat, but this is an extremely minimal detail that should say a lot about the quality and just how good they are. Another thing is that the cleats are super easy to clean, with just a wet rag or napkin any mud or dirt I’ve had on the boots just wipes right off without having to scrub or anything. Continuing, a small detail that many people might not think about is the insole and how it pairs with different kinds of socks and I have found that after using multiple different kinds of socks my foot never feels like it’s slipping or moving around in the cleat at all and as a bonus the insole adds an extra cushion of comfort while your just standing still. I’ve also found that striking the ball while shooting, passing, crossing, or just juggling the boot has a smooth and sharp feel and I’m able to feel the ball perfectly almost as if I was bare footed.Overall, I have come to love the Mercurial vapor 14’s as a person that hasn’t worn a pair of Vapors since the vapor 10 it is safe to say that I am one hundred percent back to the vapor line.

The Nike vapor 14 elite are an excellent pair of soccer shoes. Not only do they look unique, sporty, and very solid, they also are extremely comfortable. They fit just right and are true to size. I love how the shoe tongue is built in as part of the shoe which makes it nicely in place during a game and doesn't allow much movement and friction. The Nike brand is clearly displayed and is very visible. I really like how my feet don't get super hot and tired in these shoes especially on turf as it does have some breathable holes built into the design fabric. Very good considering the Texas heat. I can easily wear these shoes through a full 90 minute match with no issues. The cleats themselves are great for control both on grass and turf and have caused me no issues. The ... I have always been searching for the perfect pair that won't make my toes hurt from being on the go all day. These cleats are by far the most comfortable pair I have worn since I started playing soccer a year ago. Even though they might look long and narrow from the side, the shoes are actually a great fit for my feet like puzzle pieces clicking together in all the right places. My toes don't hurt from playing numerous hours a day on the field. The bottom of my feet also don't feel like they're moving on sandpaper because the material is too thin. These will last a very long time, made of thick reusable material from the outside to the inside. I love the neon-colored stripes on the side of the cleats making sure no one will crash into me when it's game mode. Plus, ...
