I call these my leg day shoes & they get the job done. I didn't realize how much I was struggling without flat bedded shoes for lifting & working out legs. Very comfortable, especially on the sides & arch of the shoe. As for the design of them they're alright. Sometimes I feel like it's missing something or lacking another design element. But, overall I would buy them again. I went up .5, my regular size 9 was so tight I couldn't feel my toes. I also do not have a wide or narrow foot, just regular. If you never owned flat shoes before I highly recommend trying them on first before you buy them.

I had read plenty of reviews for the last couple of years on Nike's Metcon shoes, but had been reluctant to purchase until this year. These shoes exceeded expectations from the start!! An extremely snug fit, which I really enjoyed, I have narrow feet and I highly recommend these shoes for ppl with narrow feet. The stability for squats is outstanding and on the total opposite end has enough flexibility and not too bulky for doing high intensity workouts. I wouldn't feel comfortable running 3 miles in the shoes but up to 1.5 miles feels like an acceptable amount of distance these training shoes could withstand.

I've been doing Crossfit for almost 7 years and this is my first pair of Nikes. I've been a hardcore Reebok wearer until now (Nano 2, 3, 7, 8, and lifter). I finally decided to try the Metcon 6 because it had a lot of great reviews and is a great looking shoe. I was a little concerned about them being more narrow than Reeboks, but these are fine. No issues for me and I think I have a medium width foot, maybe even slightly wide. I wear an 11.5 in both Reebok and Nike. I've been wearing these for a few weeks now exclusively in the gym and have done various squats, cleans, snatches, jerks, burpees, rowing, and double unders in them. I haven't had a chance to try them out on a rope climb and haven't run in them yet, but I think they'll be good with the huge rope grip ... They definitely have a different feel to them than my Nano 8s, but I think I'm going to continue to like them as they break in more. You'll definitely notice they're loud to walk in if you're used to Reeboks, but that's not an issue for me.

I like it, I been using for heavy squat training Hiit, ST Insanity workout and T25. Support my feet and knees for those tuck jumps. Good cushioning at the heel AND front of feet also room to spread my toes. I like the plastic wedges for squats to go a bit deeper. Breathable fabric. Wish I found these later. I hope ASOS sales more of Metcon shoes in the future.
Brought it primarily as an overall training shoe so I didn't have to switch out shoes when squatting, deadlifting etc. Doesn't really feel like a lifter on squats even with the inserts, but still very stable and enough heel lift to allow additional ankle dorsiflexion. I use it without the insoles when sumo deadlifting and it honestly feels better than my chucks. It's a slighter wider fit than the chucks but with better lateral support. Quite a decent shoe for short runs on the treadmill as well. As an overall trainer if you're not totally dependent on lifters for squats and minimal shoes for deadlifts they are amazing. In my opinion they're also the best looking trainers, I prefer the low profile look of the Metcons versus the Nano X.
Love my new Nike metcon 6. They are stable with nice firm sole to provide support when weight training but not too much to limit flexibility with speed training drills. Good fit and very comfortable. Getting the compliments in the gym. Love the price and customer support WIT FITNESS was able to provide and will continue to shop with them. Looking forward to the metcon 7 edition coming out soon.
These shoes are replacing my Metcon 3's and they are a huge upgrade over them. Nike has dealt with all the minor issues that caused my 3's to just be a good shoe and the 6's now being a great shoe. The fit is perfect and even with my narrow feet I am able to snug the laces to the point where there is no slop at all in the shoe. I have not done any extended running but while doing Kelly this week [5 separate 400 m runs] my feet felt well supported. Having the heel supports for things like back squats & wall balls is another huge plus and being able to quickly get them in and out of the shoe allows for great flexibility during my workouts. I can't say if these are a major improvement over the Metcon 5's but if your workout shoes are older than that the Metcon 6 would ... This is my second pair of Metcons and there are several improvements in this shoe that I really like. My last pair was the 4 and the upper material on these is so much nicer. The material is more flexible and breathable and less plasticy so out of the box the break in time feels pretty short. The sole also comes up a good bit higher on the sides which is nice for things like rope climbs. The shoe also comes with a lifting insert that I have yet to try but an interested in checking out. If nothing else it's a nice thoughtful bonus.
I love these shoes and only wear them for at home workouts. They hug my feet really well for HIIT exercises. They are a bit lower on the ankle than I expected so make sure you order the right size. Nike tends to run a bit small for me, so I order 12 instead of the normal 11.5 or 11 that other shoes seem to work for me. Love the style of camo. The toes were a bit tight because of the stiff material there, but they soften over time. Love the product overall!!
I’m not the type of person to write reviews, even if I really like the product. Considering that, I HAD to write a review for the Metcon 6 because they exceeded my expectations. They are the perfect workout shoe. They’re light and comfortable but still stable and supportive enough for single leg movements. After buying these shoes my squats have been deeper and my lunges have been steadier. I think they just provide me with the balance I need to make the most out of every movement involved in weight lifting. The hyperlift is just an added bonus that improves the shoes and my exercises even more.
