Awesome Running Sneaker
The style of these sneakers could not be more on-point! They truly could be worn for working out, casual wear or even for lounging as they are as comfortable as they are stylish. The black/grey/white color scheme makes them really versatile to wear with truly anything. As far as functionality goes, they are great for working out and running. The arch flex is really nice and almost makes them fun to jog in. I clearly love the sneaker, but my only disappointment is in the way the tongue is attached to the entire shoe. Makes for a little bit of difficulty slipping on and off. Overall, great sneaker as most of my Nikes are.... Show more

Best Training Shoe
The metcon line isn't just for crossfit athletes anymore. It is also for normal everyday people that exercise at home. This shoe does it all. Whether it's hiit cardio training or weight training these shoes are just what you need. The inside foot sleeve is flexible for those side to side movements of a hiit routine as well as sole it lets you move multi directionally with nice support. If you're weight training you have the right amount of cushion to go a little heavier on sets. They run true to size so order your normal size. I definitely recommend these shoes and I will be ordering a second pair.... Show more

BRING BACK METCON FREE 3!!!!!
BRING BACK METCON FREE 3!!!!!I purchased these to replace my Metcon 3's and absolutely hate the 4's. They are way to tight around the foot (I have a very averaged size foot in width). The opening to the shoe is the worst part about it. They moved the tab for the heel towards the middle of the back so it's not useful. The opening is much smaller and a fitted distance around (there is no "tongue") so you have to slide your foot in, causing the back to fold, and then dig your finger underneath your foot to get the back over your heel again. Awful design. Makes no sense at all. They also have less arch support, These are meant for training so I still need good arch support for my knees between the different movements these are meant for. Even though my 3's are pretty ... MoreBRING BACK METCON FREE 3!!!!!I purchased these to replace my Metcon 3's and absolutely hate the 4's. Comfy cross trainers
Shoe runs a bit narrow like other Nikes and does not have a tongue so can be somewhat difficult to slip on. Once on it is a snug fit but feels comfortable from the first wear with great arch support and for cross training. Stays comfortable all day long. Great grip on the rubber tread. Wide heel is nice for squatting type activities and tread runs high on the sides for rope climbing. Mesh on top makes it breathable. Great flexibility on the sole. Generally prefer a looser fit for my shoes but would recommend if you like a snugger fitting cross trainer.... Show more

Decent shoes but very tight upon first wear
Decent shoes, but they are very tight in the ankles when you first wear them, which makes it difficult to put them on. Over time, they do stretch out a bit and I expect with even more time, I expect they'll fit better once they've been broken in more. Even though they are a little tight, they feel very stable and secure while walking and running and did not feel like they were going to slide off like some sneakers with looser ankles that stretch out over time. They're definitely comfortable, I walked around for the first time in them for three hours and I had no foot pain or discomfort. There's a nice cushion in the soles. The color scheme on these is neutral and I felt comfortable wearing them out and doing non-workout activities. Nice and versatile for various ... Great go anywhere, do anything sneakers!
These Nike Metcon 4 shoes are fantastic. The men's 11 ran perfectly true to size for me. These shoes look great, and they are incredibly comfortable. This is the first pair of sneakers I've ever tried with a fully attached tongue, and they feel SO secure and stable while I work out. I've never worn a shoe with this much support while lifting, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Total game changers! I wouldn't distance run in these shoes, but if you're looking to go from treadmill to lifting heavy, HIIT, or talking your dog for a jog these are absolutely worth your consideration. I've got a lot of shoes to choose from, but I find myself reaching for these every morning.... Show more

Great Training Shoes!
I had been looking for training shoes for a good amount of time, but nothing seemed to be a good fit until the Metcon 4s. After wearing running shoes to do all my non-running training, the stability the Metcons brought to my jump roping and weight training was much better than what I was used to. I started wearing them daily, and they were not only comfortable for training sessions, they were also perfect for driving long distances, and doing normal chores. I would not recommend for long walking distances however as the cushioning isn’t as good as a traditional running shoe, but other than that they can handle most things. They look great and I’ve received multiple compliments from friends and family. One thing that could improve is the laces, however. There were ... There were times when the laces would untie randomly, and I felt like they could be a little longer. That said, I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone looking for something other than a running shoe, as it is versatile enough to be used as a daily shoe!... Show more

Ok shoe, but missing the strengths of Free and Metcon
I've long been a fan of Nike's Free series and the Metcon series, but this was my first chance to see how they work together.Short answer - not especially well.If you want lightweight, flexible, and cool, the Free running shoes are far superior. If you want planted, low to the ground, and stable, actual Metcon's are where to look.Unfortunately the combination of these two compromises those strengths. The upper provides a snug, secure fit - but it's not especially well ventilated, and it's so tight it's difficult to get on and off.The sole is well cushioned, but it's not as flexible as a free running shoe. The large heel makes it feels high off the ground, which is bad for the lifts and exercises that are the core of a Metcon's purpose. The shoe actually ... It's got a big, knobby sole, giant heel, and massive Nike logo on the back. Made me think of the trend in pickup trucks to have bigger and bigger grills. Your mileage may vary on whether that's a positive or not.Overall, it's actually not bad for a walking around, hiking, etc. But that's not why you buy a Nike training shoe. Would highly recommend prioritizing what you need, and buying something that actually accomplishes that mission.... Show more

Unique firm fitting trainer shoe
I've never had a shoe quite like this one. I find it to be a very attractive pair of shoes, with a good neutral color scheme. The mesh top, with re-enforced coating on the exterior toe, is both good looking and functional. The opening of the shoe is most notable, and a mixed bag. It is a fixed opening with minimal stretch. The back NIKE branded band on the back of the shoe is actually an elastic band that is pushing towards the inside of the shoe. The result is some effort to get your foot in the shoe, but then a very firm fit once seated properly. It doesn't even feel like laces are necessary! It is a pleasure to walk, run and just live in this shoe. Love it!... Show more

Very comfortable!
Whenever I buy training or running shoes, my usual size 8 would sometimes be a hit or miss. Not with the Metcon 4 shoes. They fit me just right. These shoes are on a different level from what I am used to. They are a perfect fit for me - snug and seems like it hugs my feet and makes me feel like I am not wearing any shoes because they are so light yet amazingly comfortable. It also has great arch support. I got to try the fit, comfort, and durability of these shoes during my vacation at the Smoky Mountains. Non-stop walking for several hours, in different trails, for 2 days. I never felt any discomfort. Also, it looks so stylish. I'm so happy to have it!... Show more
