Nike Metcon 8 training shoes are the best crossfit sneakers I have ever had. The side gripping is perfect for rope climbing. The shoes are flat and perfect for lifting. My feet
have cramped in so many shoes and these cause no issues. I have a wide foot, but the normal width fits perfect, i would recommended going up a size if you have an extra
wide foot though. Love the color, they are a light grayish purple. Great quality Highly recommend

Just had my first lift in these and let me tell you, I LOVE them!! Finding correct muscle contact is far easier due to the extremely sturdy and hard heel (the heel of the shoe is
practically made of plastic—there’s no bounce). With that being said, this is not a very versatile shoe and should just be used for lifting, and moreover, for leg days. My usual
size is a 7.5 and I ordered a 7.5 fits perfect. I have a wide foot too. Wouldn’t have been happy with any bigger. Highly recommend!

This shoe is very sturdy - almost too stiff at first. But it loosens up with a few wearings. I don't like the velcro tab that the shoelace is supposed to be tied under, though. The
shoelace sticks to the velcro and is annoyingly difficult to avoid. Very good looking shoe overall.

Good shoe! Check size!
14 June 2023
This is my first time getting the Metcon 8. I lift everyday and was looking for a shoe that would be flat for leg days. these are confortable and very very flat which is good! Would not recommend for running. I am usually an 8 in Nikes but the shoe is narrow at the top of the shoe which added some space and made it feel big. I sized down to a 7.5 and it fits much better. i personally think that this shoe is worth the money. Maybe try two sizes. They say it’s true to size but I don’t think it is. (However I’m very picky with my shoes and how they fit) Hope this helps!... Show more

Great for Weights
3 December 2022
I have had my eyes on these shoes for a while and I am so glad I have them now. Usually, I lift weights in my running shoes, but these have changed my mind. The second I put them on I felt support exactly where I needed it to lift heavier. They helped my balance for squats and deadlifts. This allowed me to shift my focus to perfecting my form instead of staying upright. I did notice that the sole does not allow for normal foot flexion, so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend for cross training or HIIT workouts. However, they are perfect for my boot camps that are part spin class part weight lifting. The shoes do run slightly small as I wear an 9.5 in my epic react running shoes and the 9.5 in these feel a bit more snug, maybe size up one half size for more comfort. ... MoreI have had my eyes on these shoes for a while and I am so glad I have them now. Love them
15 January 2023
Bought them for training as needed some new gym trainers. Was slightly sceptical before I got them as I thought they may have had a bit of give in the heal, but they don't feel to do. They are fantastic for training legs. And once you get used to them after a couple of wears they are pretty good for cardio also. If your used to a Nike Air type trainer though these are not that. They feel flat when u walk, hence why they are ace for training legs. Feel a little snug on the feet which I like when training but not everyone will so just be aware.... Show more

Low quality for the brand.
20 March 2023
I started strength training last year so wanted to get these as they came highly recommended. Unfortunately, considering the brand, they seemed like they missed a few steps during quality control. With glue being visible and was clearly worn - found some stops and dirt underneath. The brand also suggests they are good for doing some cardio as well but I don’t think I’d be able to with the cushioning being fairly minimal and firm.Okay, but returned them because I wanted something a little robust that’s was also suitable for light cardio.... Metcon 8
2 December 2022
The shoes run small. I consider my foot to be skinny and narrow and the shoes still fit me tight. The issue with the shoe is the tongue. The tongue is squishy, takes up too much room and moves too much. The shoes are so tight on my foot that I don’t have to lace them to walk. I definitely don’t recommend for wide feet. I normally wear a size 6 women but I think I should have got a size 7 instead. The two things I liked about the shoes were the reflective material used on the outside and the Velcro lace lock on the tongue. Other than that they run too small and the heels are very stiff. The shoe isn’t flexible to have long walks or run with.... Show more

Metcon 8 Great
30 November 2022
Received a pair of Metcon 8, my pair in this series and overall it's a great pair of training kicks. I've been wearing them for about 2 weeks now while I'm working. I do a lot of walking, bending down, kneeling, getting and out of tall/large vehicle and squatting while I go about my work day of 10 hours, 4 days a week, and no complaints so far. I will admit I was surprised by how comfortable they would be, was worried about the flat & hard soles of the shoes not being comfortable, and I worried for nothing. They also have really great grip & traction. My main use for them will be gor work but I could see these being used at the gym. Overall very happy with them.... Show more

17 November 2023
Great fit. I bought for weight training and running and can really feel difference in my form.I was unsure if 3.5 would work but actually are great fit a, 3 would have been too snug and 4 would have been looseThey are not water proof so wouldn't wear and about purely for gym use. However, they look nice but wouldn't be comfortable for long wear....
