I ordered this shoe and was excited to receive it UNTIL I actually got it. The shoe was beautiful but wasn’t what I desired ultimately. I ordered a 10.5 in Men’s but I received a 10.5 in Women’s. The show was placed under the wrong section in their website and when brought to their attention, they refused to exchange or refund for the shoe because it was on sale. Even after multiple attempts to show them that it was an error on their part having the shoe under the wrong section, they still refused to do anything about the issue. Now, I’m stuck with a shoe that I can’t wear and unsure that I’ll be able to sell! Not Happy At All, because this was the 2nd pair of shoes I’d bought within a month and was planning to support again!

I was a little nervous the first time I tried on the Air Max 1. I had read a few reviews where people complained the shoes were very hard and stiff and quite uncomfortable. I was relieved when I didn't experience this at all. My shoes are soft and comfortable and fit like a glove. There was good cushioning in the heel and toe area with some slight wiggle room. I have narrow feet so that might explain why I don't really notice the stiffness in the shoes. The meshy fabric was soft, and it was thicker than I expected which was a good thing. The shoes do have a somewhat clunky appearance which is partly due to the Air Max bubble. However, they are still surprisingly light and don't feel clunky at all.I've worn them several times to work out and have been quite pleased ... My workouts typically include light running and cross training and I have had no significant issues with my shoes between the various exercises. My shoes feel light on my feet and the landing on jumps are soft and sure. As comfortable as the shoes are, my favorite part of the new Air Max 1 is the design. The Air Max 1 may be new but there's a familiar timeless feel about it that I really love. It's as if I've had them for years. If I had to change one thing about these shoes, it would be the sole of the shoe. There isn't much tread, and I worry that the tread will wear out much sooner than I'd like. For a cross training shoe, the little tread is a disappointment. Overall, there's still a lot to like about the Air Max 1. Despite that disappointment, I'm still happy with my shoes and will be hanging on to them for a while.

So, I usually wear a 6.5, and I got the Air Max Fuschia in the same size. When I first put them on, I noticed that they felt a bit too tight around the toes. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but it was something I picked up on. On the flip side, the rest of the shoe had a snug fit, especially around the midfoot, which gave me a sense of stability while walking or running. The cushioning and support were fantastic. The shoes had this plush feel, if you know what I mean? which kind of made them super comfortable for all-day wear in my opinion. It added a pop of personality to my outfits and made me stand out in a sea of more standard colors.Regarding the fabric, I loved that it somehow did not make my feet that sweaty for whatever reason the fabric and the material of this Air Max 1 is breathable in spite of the warmth I feel inside, especially in this summer weather. Plus, the material felt durable, so I wasn't worried about them falling apart anytime soon.Considering everything, what I liked most about these Air Max Fuschia was the mix of style and coziness. It's not often you find a shoe that looks great and feels like a dream to wear. Now, what would I change? Well, I'd suggest Nike work on the sizing a bit. I could not say they run small, but while the 6.5 was generally fine for me, may be they could work on the extra space towards the toes. It's worth noting for those who prefer a bit more room in the toe area. Maybe they could fine-tune the fit to ensure it's just right for everyone. But overall, I'm really happy with these Air Max Fuschia sneakers it kind of had become one of my go-to pairs for both casual and active days.

The air max1 is literally my favorite Nike shoe. I grew up wearing them my entire life and love that they’re back with a fresh spin on color. I excitedly purchased the Volt neon green color way and the color is just as electric and beautiful in person. I have to be honest the quality of the material is not what it used to be. I know some people would say well that’s why you buy the premium ones, but I should still have quality shoes from Nike had any level. The laces used to be the most durable, soft cotton, but now they feel like cheap straw material. Even the textile fabrics used on the shoe don’t feel as nice and easy to clean. The shoe looks great and I do plan to keep them but I’m just worried about how long they’ll actually last as someone who takes good care ... MoreThe air max1 is literally my favorite Nike shoe. It was that time again and I needed to replace my favorite Nikes. Wore them for two years lol it looked it. So I needed a new pair. However several months later and did not find a pair that I really liked and wanted. I am pretty selective about the things I buy and wear. But recently as I was browsing through websites I finally found the ones I instantly wanted. I purchased them on Nordstrom’s website.I am sure glad I finally found my perfect pair of Nike. After I received my Nikes today I instantly knew I picked a perfect pair. I am really happy I purchased these sleek, lightweight stylish pair of Nike Air Max 1’s! Absolutely no regrets! :)
I wore the Nike Air Max 1 shoes for the first time on a family trip to Montreal, Canada while 34 weeks pregnant. I was hoping they would be comfortable to walk around the city and explore. Initially, they did feel a little tighter around the toes, but this was easily fixed by loosening the shoelaces. Once I made that adjustment, they were extremely comfortable, although I only wore them for 3 hours a time before taking a break. I loved that they were easy to break in for a new shoe, and the back of the shoe did not hurt the back of my heel. I appreciated that they were not bulky and I could pair it with a dress or shorts. I also really liked the suede; it elevates the look of the shoe. I am excited to keep wearing them! I would opt for a black, gray, and white ... After testing out the Nike Air Max 1 for a couple weeks, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they were all day. I tend to have issues with Nike shoes because I feel like my feet are typically on the wider side but after wearing these shoes all day, I don’t have any complaints when it comes to width. I’m a solid 7.5 and these shoes run true to size. I would describe the color as a fuschia pink which gives it that pop of color to surely stand out. Pair it with a similar color for laces instead of the standard white laces and it will definitely catch some attention! Overall, I love the design of this shoe. It gives me that classic Nike look and I felt so stylish in them. The fabric is sturdy and I’m sure I’ll be able to get a lot of use out of these shoes!
I was one of those kids back in the day who had the old Air Max "Big Bubble" shoe. They were my running shoes, and they were one of my favorite shoes to wear. The new Nike Air Max 1 just might become my new favorite. The design is super sleek and is a perfect blend of classic and new. The big bubble is still there, and the colorway gives off major retro vibes, but the shoe is unmistakably fresh and modern. I was initially going to wear these shoes for the gym, but a couple of things made me opt instead to use it as an everyday casual shoe.First, the top of the shoe is a little stiffer than I like. The fabric part is soft and provides decent cushioning, but the overall top and toe area feels stiff and tight. Maybe I will break it in eventually, but I didn't want to ... The fabric part is soft and provides decent cushioning, but the overall top and toe area feels stiff and tight. Maybe I will break it in eventually, but I didn't want to take any chances. Besides, the retro design was screaming for me to wear it with jeans. I live in the city and have already walked all around town in them. Besides the aforementioned stiffness, the shoes overall were comfortable and soft and walking for over an hour in them in the city didn't give me any issues. My favorite thing about the shoes, besides the retro design, is the extra height it gives me without it looking clunky. What I will change about the shoes, however, are the shoelaces. For some reason, it unties easily. I find myself having to re-tie them constantly but that's a minor issue that can be remedied. Overall, I'm already a big fan of the Air Max 1 and can't wait to check out other colorways.
First impression of the shoe was the nice clean style all around. True to its size. The shoe could be worn with multiple outfits and still give you that good look. The shoe itself with the mesh let's your feet breathe when wearing them for extended periods of time. As you keep walking in the shoe it just stays as comfortable as when you first put them on. Have worn them for long walks and my feet never hurt, feels like walking on a cloud. The only concern I have is the the material on the outside and how cleanable it is. Would definitely recommend this shoe for anyone looking for style and comfort. This shoe will give them both the looks and comfort to take on the day.
Love the look of these Air Max 87s, bought the Smokey mauve colorway. But the quality is laughable. The “suede” feels synthetic and low quality, the mesh is a large weave, feels cheap and has already started fraying and loose threads. The laces are the cheapest, slipperiest nylon kind you can get at a drugstore. I got these on sale so I’m a little less annoyed than if I had paid full price. I now use them for my commuting shoes bc I don’t care if they get a little dirty catching the bus and walking around downtown. Buyer beware.
