A nod to sustainability without compromising design
The Pegasus Turbo Next Nature shoes combine Nike's focus on sustainable efforts with innovation and without compromising on design. The shoes are on the firmer side, providing a secure fit. I have been breaking in these shoes this past week and I find the cushioning to provide satisfactory bounce and support on my runs. The lightweight fly knit upper is breathable and conforms to my foot without rubbing. The one piece upper creates a slightly restrictive opening. By generously loosening the laces, I find it easier to put on the shoes. I am experiencing slight rubbing at the heel collar. The soles also feel flat and I was able to easily remove the insoles and replace them with inserts to better support my arch. It is worth mentioning that the average-sized toe box ... These shoes show minor wear after a week and I question the durability of this ZoomX foam over time for my running style. I personally prefer my Pegasus 38s for my feet shape and running style, but I am going to give the shoes another few weeks before I retire them as running shoes and use them exclusively for wear as an all day comfort casual sneaker.... A solid shoe that is springy yet firm, lightweight and responsive, multi-use
There are a lot of types of runners in the world. Some, like my husband, set out for a "casual" 10 mile jaunt and think nothing of it. Others count it a win when they've completed the classic Couch to 5k program. I'm definitely more in that camp of runner--I want to love running, but I'm still getting acclimated. A big part of the journey for me is finding the right shoe. So far, I've run in neutral shoes that have little cushion. I have wanted to try something a bit springier, so I was thrilled to receive the Pegagus Turbo Next Natural to try for free and was even more thrilled when I loved them. These shoes have cushion! From the moment I put them on in my house, I noticed how soft and bouncy they felt. To be honest, I feared they may be TOO bouncy...I wondered if I'd feel unstable when moving. Once I hit the road, though, those fears dissipated. While definitely springy, they're still fairly firm and I felt secure and supported. The bounce the shoes provide helped propel me forward, and my calves felt less fatigued after my run. They're great for a run, but they also felt great while running errands and walking around town. I wore them for an entire day of errands and walked a full 10,000 steps in them, and my feet felt great. I can see including these shoes in my wardrobe for many uses, whether I'm running to the grocery store in leggings and a baggy t-shirt or while working out. I got these in the black/off noir/sesame/sail color combo and LOVE the neutral vibe they give. They're so easy to pair with leggings, jeans, or maybe even a casual dress. They're sleek and don't have a huge footprint, so they are easily styled with a variety of outfits. It's also worth noting that these shoes are made for the road and have a good amount of grip. I've run after a rain and they had no issues with the wet pavement. They're not as grippy as my trail runners, but I think they'd be ok on some dirt trails that don't have a ton of rocks or other big obstacles. The feel is great, how about the fit? I'm a true 10, and a 10 fit perfectly. I would suggest sizing up a half size if you plan on running long distances, but I had no issues with the sizing. The only downside I found: the rim of the shoe is pretty stiff, especially by the heel. I had no issues once I got them on, but I did need to wear taller socks to prevent the shoe from rubbing into my foot at the ankle and the sides. I also noted the lack of second hole for laces, though I had zero slippage as I ran. If you have a thinner heel, the lack of extra grommet may be problematic.Overall, I give these a solid 4 stars. If I could do a half star, I'd bump to 4.5 as I don't think the stiffness of the edge is a huge deal, but I know for some it may be.... Show more

A Spiritual, But Not Direct, Descendant of the Turbo 1 and Turbo 2
I loved the Pegasus Turbo and Turbo 2, so when I saw that Nike was releasing the Turbo Next Nature, I was pretty excited. However, for better or worse, this shoe is not as soft, cushioned, and bouncy as its predecessors. Maybe it's the nature of the recycled ZoomX foam that's used for the midsole, or the fact that this version doesn't seem to have the layer of React foam that the earlier Turbo models did, but the Turbo Next Nature, while still bouncy overall, has a firmer stepoff overall. It's still quite comfortable to use casually, but if you're going to use this shoe for running, it's probably better designed now for speed runs given the firmer feel of the midsole. The upper is made of a thicker type of Flyknit that doesn't seem super breathable, but is otherwise ... Durability is questionable
I’m just going to start this off by saying I love this shoe! I was a little disappointed because my friend had recommended the original turbos that he loved to use for tempo work but the next nature doesn’t have the get up that older turbo had. Never the less I love them as an everyday trainer as they’re super light, zoom x has a little better cushion than the original Pegasus, and the rocker is a great shape that almost feels like wearing dragonfly spikes. My one big grievance is that after only 125 miles, there are already chunks of foam falling out along with big cracks and peeling on the outsole. They still feel good to run in but for a shoe that people love to say they’ve lasted 400-500 miles, it’s disappointing to see that mine will be lucky to survive the 200 ... I may get them again while they’re still on sale but unless they last way longer the second time I would probably go another direction at full price.... Show more

Good fit, poor durability.
I have wide-ish feet and pretty high arches. I loved the Air Zoom Pegasus Turbo 2 from a few years ago. However, the only similarity between that shoe and this one is the name. The flyknit upper fits securely but the collar is difficult to pull over my arches. Overall the shoe is comfortable to walk and stand in. It is definitely a neutral shoe, feels a bit less bulky than the Peg 39.Cushioning is moderate, I don’t feel a lot of compression and expansion when moving in the shoe. This is supposed to be a highly responsive shoe but it does not feel like much. The former model was super snappy and this one feels more passive and flat.My biggest complaint with these shoes is around the durability of the outsole rubber. More firm than I thought!
The Pegasus Turbo Next Nature is a strikingly good looking shoe. My foot is a tiny bit wide but closer to normal width and the shoe felt great. The toe box is pretty spacious but I went with my normal size and didn’t need to size up or down, so the shoe fit true to size. I love the fast look of the shoe as it reminds me of the previous Pegasus Turbos.I wore the shoes for about 8 hours and they felt fairly firm. I then took the shoe for a few 3 mile runs and by the third run they were broken in and felt great underfoot. I would say this shoe is geared more for running, but if worn casually they are a lot more firm than I thought they would be.What I liked most about the shoe is that they are great for running. I did not have any place on my foot where I felt blisters or hotspots would happen. Since they were a little more firm, they felt great as I picked up the pace and felt the responsiveness of the Zoom Turbo. The only thing I would change about the shoe is that there is no heel tab and they were a little difficult to get on, but once they were on my feet they felt awesome.... Show more

Pegasus Turbo Next Nature
The Pegasus Turbo Next Nature are overall a pretty good running show. They fit very well and don't run big or small, but fit just right. Your feet feel very snug and secure during exercising. Your feet don't overheat the more you exercise. Instead they feel very comfortable and cool throughout movement. Overall the fit and feel of the shoe is the bets quality of the shoe. The design of the shoe is very nice. The sock like feel of the shoe makes it extremely comfortable to wear and adds to the look. This shoe is comfortable enough to not only wear during running or working out, but can be worn comfortably all day during any activity. However, the biggest downside to the Pegasus Turbo Next Nature is the misbalance of cushioning while walking or running. The shoe almost feels like the cushion on the bottom of the shoe favors the outer side of the foot. I found it very difficult to keep my balance at times due to the feeling of walking on the outer edges of my foot. Although the cushion of the shoe does feel very comfortable, it still can be annoying at times to lose your balance doing basic movements. Other than that, the shoe was overall a great shoe....
