I may have been forced to be an athlete to realize I loved it, but my kiddos thankfully got a crazy natural athleticism and love of sports from their dad. He has worn cleats for everything from golf and football to baseball and soccer throughout his life. Now he is older with lots of old injuries, and he needs supportive footwear but is not willing to admit it. Thankfully, Nike is the OG when it comes to comfort without forsaking style and introduced this beauty, the Phantom Gx Elite Fusion Fg. The neon yellow soles make way to an explosion of fast color woven into a cleat that helps him move better on the field. The foot is protected even though it feels like youâre wearing nothing but air, and the Phantom tech helps you to fly over turf without a break. Anyone looking to invest in their cleats should check these first because they will deliver an improved game.

As a larger guy (6'4", 240lbs) wearing a size 13, I'm always in a predicament of finding a high-quality cleat that also fits comfortably. When I first put the Phantom GX Elite Fusions on, they were a tight fit (as expected) and as most soccer cleats are. But after a little time running around in them, the molded to my feet nicely. The have a stiffer feel to them but they are extremely light weight. I believe part of the stiffness comes from the extremely grippy textured surface/material that runs over the toe section and along the inside portion of the cleats. Talk about being able to put some spin on a ball... Wet weather included. This cleat instills a lot of confidence in my play The toe box area is tight (but not too tight) and holds my foot securely.I only ... MoreAs a larger guy (6'4", 240lbs) wearing a size 13, I'm always in a predicament of finding a high-quality cleat that also fits comfortably. The Phantom GX Elite Fusions garner a good amount of attention from teammates. And they look amazing in real life. If you like the photos, I promise you'll love them in person. They have good water/weather resistance to them and kept me feet relatively warm/dry on cold/wet game days. I have played on a mixture of outdoor turf and grass fields. It handles both conditions with tremendous traction and agility. The cleat section is molded in a way that prevents a lot of grass/mud build up as well. I see no reason why most levels of soccer players wouldn't be able to get a full season or more out of them. Durability is a major plus. They even come with their own Nike branded drawstring bag for storage/transport. The bag is white with black lettering and has neon yellow draw strings. Good quality bag.I would not hesitate in purchasing another pair of the Phantom GX Elite Fusions. Well worth the money and truly one of the best cleats money can buy (IMO).

Like the title says, these are by far the best pair of cleats Iâve ever worn. The gripknit perfectly stretches to wrap around your foot, almost feels like an extra sock. My feet are wider and I still fit nicely in these cleats. There is a little tackiness to it, but not overly done. Just gives you that tiny extra bit of control. There is a nice, soft padding in the heel and everything feels almost broken in right out of the box. After the first session, I never thought about the break in again. They just felt like they were made for my feet after that. The grip is excellent, wet or dry thanks to the cleat pattern. I really like the design of these with the swirl on the inside and pops of color, but nothing too crazy. A worthy investment for your feet and game.

Talk about details! If these aren't the coolest low-key "look at me," cleats from top to bottom! As a former college player and now Mom coaching three little soccer players of my own, these cleats are such a great wear for me. The boot is undeniably comfortable. The woven colors are just perfect. I love the addition of the pinks and purples, which keeps it a little more feminine of a cleat for me. The lime green accents tie the whole pattern and fabric together. I do have a bit of a wider foot, so it's always a struggle for me to squeeze my feet into my cleats, but these I had no problem with. The soft knitted fabric around the ankle ensures there won't be any rub. They are the perfect lightness and they hug your feet. Makes me feel like I'm floating across the ... MoreTalk about details! I appreciate the stableness they provide and sturdiness I feel in changing directions. Look good, feel good, play good. Needless to say my kids now really do think I'm the cool soccer Mom coach that I am.
Very happy with the quality, comfort, and performance of the Phantom GX. Great all around boot that feels very free and is ready out of the box. If you like these color ways, by all means, go for it. However, be cautious if you purchase the custom ones. As you can see by the pictures, why I âdesignedâ looked very different from what was delivered. The website shows and describes the boot as all black (except for the heel swoosh). What I received is not all black. It is greyâjust like the grey/black pre-made version with orange accents. I spoke with a Nike customer rep (they were very kind and sympathetic) but ultimately told me I got what I ordered and it was probably just an issue with the lighting. Iâm telling you folks, itâs not the lighting. But hey, you decide. ... MoreVery happy with the quality, comfort, and performance of the Phantom GX. Got these cleats for my husband who Messiâs (đ„) around on the soccer field. He loves them. Soccer cleats are always more fun in vibrant colors and these definitely deliver on that front without being obnoxious. Beyond aesthetics, these also offer decent support. Theyâre also a good width which is nice while wearing thicker soccer socks and shin guards so your toes arenât all pinched or rubbing against the exterior of the shoes. My only caution is that I can see someone rolling their ankle with these a bit more easily since itâs not a hard-shell shoe all the way up the foot. Theyâre more of that fitted but stretchy material, like the exterior of Free Runs when it gets up towards the ankle. With that said, your upper foot may also get a little more damp after awhile ... MoreGot these cleats for my husband who Messiâs (đ„) around on the soccer field. He loves them. I love the colors of these cleats! Theyâre perfect for anyone since theyâre bright & colorful but donât appear too masculine or feminine. The fabric around the ankle is soft so you donât have to worry about it rubbing. They were difficult for me to put on because of the tightness, so youâll have to skip on any thick socks with these, but they felt great once they were on. Theyâre made with durable material thatâs breathable and light weight, making it easy to move around and change directions quickly without losing any stability. The best part about these cleats is the grippy textured surface/material that runs over the toe box as well as along the inside portion of the cleats, giving you precision and control over the ball as youâre maneuvering. The Phantom GX Elite FG's were beautiful out of the box. I've never owned a slicker looking pair of cleats in my life. The orange accented interior and the striped gray and black look fantastic. The materials are very light weight, lighter than I'm used to with other cleats and I really appreciate the freedom it gives you on the field. The Phantom GX Elite FG's are pretty stiff at first. and it took 2 days of wearing them and walking around the house in them before I felt comfortable taking them out for a real spin. Once broken in, they were more comfortable. I am not playing soccer in any leagues currently, so I called a few friends for a "pick up game." While still just a tad stiff, they worked great! If you're looking to step up your soccer game, these soccer cleats are the perfect choice. First off, I love how these look! Love the color combination and just how stunning these look. The Gripknit material is a game-changer, providing enhanced grip and better ball control. The material gives you more surface area to control the ball and molds to the shape of your foot, providing equal grip in any condition.
