Nike's Precision 5 basketball shoes offer great performance at an affordable price. They provide good grip and support for quick moves on the court. Dynamic looks and breathable they keep your feet comfortable during long games. With solid cushioning to protect your feet and stylish designs these shoes are a top choice for players looking for quality on a budget.

Closest thing to the Kobe shoes

Overall a great shoe for basketball, but you can also wear it for general gym lifts/trainings as well. It’s very light and might probably be the lightest basketball shoes out right now, at around 9 ounces (according to sole brothers). My only issue is that the laces and the tongue are of poor material, so I replaced my laces with another one from my older running shoes.Outside of those flaws, I would consider this the closest shoes to my favorite basketball shoes, Kobe 5,6, and 8, which are extremely hard to find. Thanks,Tenzin

Comfortable shoes that I use to play tennis with

Got these to primarily play tennis on hard courts and they're great. Good traction on hard courts and very comfy. The big toe area is actually wearing out the quickest on the bottom soles because of my hitting motion. Can't speak to how they perform playing basketball, but these are more comfortable and lighter that my other pair of Nike shoes specifically designed for tennis. The lightness of the shoe makes me feel quicker on the tennis court. Liked so much, got a 2nd pair for tennis.

This line of shoe is known to give you good performance shoes for a low price. Out of all the precision shoes this one is the worst. Very comfortable shoe with above average impact protection, good ankle support however the traction of the shoe is poor. I find myself slipping ok both clean and dusty courts. Comfortable shoe but doesn’t provide the performance I want. Buy the other precision shoes instead.

Great shoes, regardless of the price

This non-signature budget model from Nike impresses; performance-wise, the shoes are probably worth much more.Concerning fit, the pair are true to size, applicable for all and are wide-foot friendly. The quality of these shoes is quite good, being durable, and having a premium feeling upper. If you are a guard who doesn't particularly need impact protection yet emphasises on speed and precision, or you are a nimble forward - get a pair.

Not my favorite model of Nike basketball shoes
14 December 2023

I don't know if Nike is making their shoes smaller, but this size 12 shoe is tighter than my other Nike size 12 basketball shoes, and they're shaped more like running/walking shoes than basketball shoes. I'm sure they will fit better when I break them in, but I ordered another new pair of Nike basketball shoes at the time time, and those other shoes fit perfectly without needing to be broken in. With these shoes there is no ankle support and there is no room for my toes. Nike is the only shoe brand I wear in a size 12 because they make them small. With every other shoe maker, I wear an 11.

Unexpectedly great

I love these shoes. After playing in signature models for years I finally tried a markdown and MAN let me tell you. They're lighter and even more comfortable than others and still provide a very nice, running-shoe-like cushion that has good bounce. Overall, try these if you like low tops or want something minimal.

good overall

Overall this is a good budget shoe-it definitely a steal for the price. The problems I have with the shoe is the tongue moves to the side of your foot as you play, if you do not lace them up tight enough. One other thing I have a problem is I do have some slippage on a inside court if the court is dusty, defiantly when I make a hard cut. I love the style of the shoe it reminds of some sort of a Kyrie. The fit is prefect I have no complaints about it just get your normal size shoe. The things I love about the shoe is that they are very light. The traction is pretty good when there is no dust on the court, they are amazing, almost the feeling of a Kyrie. Overall it is a great shoe definitely for the price.
