Amazing Shoe
This style of shoe is one that I never usually consider as the shoes I typically purchase are regular Nike SB's, Jordan 1s, and dunks. Going off looks I like the color combination choices the gold really stands out on the red and white but besides that its not my favorite design. I have received compliments for them so its just me, maybe i'm just being a little to hard on them. Aesthetics aside, this shoe is veeery comfortable. As soon as I tried them on these became my everyday shoe, they fit perfectly for me, no break in period necessary. For some it may not matter but the height boost is a plus, materials are soft. I can jump and say they really help on the landing, big difference from anything else i've worn and have been the only shoe I dont have a problem ... Since receiving them besides getting dirty from use the materials have held up very well. So if anyone is debating if they should get a shoe like this id say go for it, its going to be worth it.... Budget Friendly Hoop Shoe
I had low expectations for this as it was on the lower tier of the Nike basketball family. However, it was a more than adequate performer despite lacking some of the tech that you find on the more expensive signature models. In my opinion, the highlight of this shoe is the traction. I had an ample amount of grip on indoor courts. The herringbone pattern of the outsole allowed for quick cuts and seamless change of direction.Materials were average and I wasn't expecting much in terms of durability. But after a couple weeks of use it's held up nicely.Fit was perfect. I'm a size 9 and they fit almost like a Nike running shoe to me. I would go true to size.Shoe stability was just above average. There isn't much in the way of heel lockdown. But the shoe does conform well to the shape of your foot. There is just enough of a lateral outrigger to prevent your ankle from rolling under normal playing conditions. The midfoot is stiff enough that it allows for just enough pop when transitioning from heel to toe.The thing that I feel is lacking compared to other Nike basketball shoes is the cushioning. I don't feel much underfoot because it's lacking strategically placed air units. I will say that this does cater to someone who loves court feel and has a shifty style of play.Overall I think this basketball shoe is more than capable of holding its own against most others on the market. It's a relatively stable shoe that's lightweight and more catered to guards who's games are predicated on quick change of directions.... Show more

Budget Shoe, Budget Features, Great Value
Let me premise my review by saying I am no longer a competitive player who's doing daily runs. My point of view comes from a player that is playing in a 30+ weekly league coupled with some light shooting during my evening workouts.First off, the price of this shoe is refreshing. Coming from an era where most basketball shoes start around $150 MSRP, a budget basketball shoe at $75 is great. But with a budget price comes budget features. There is almost no cushioning on this shoe. The stiffness leads to great court feel and allows for stability with lateral movements but they'll take some time to break in. The sole has sufficient grip, I never felt as if I was slipping or out of control. On an indoor court they're great but I wasn't able to test them on an outdoor ... On an indoor court they're great but I wasn't able to test them on an outdoor court, I assume they'll be okay.My biggest gripe is that these shoes are akin to heel slip. Even tied tightly, there isn't much for a solid heel lockdown. Furthermore, the shoes feel tight, I'd size up .5 if you're used to rocking thicker elite socks.Aesthetically, the shoe reminds me of a watered down GT Cut. Nothing wrong with that, just don't expect to break necks on the court.Overall, the price of this shoe and what you're getting is the major selling point. If you're just getting back into basketball or want some beaters then the Precision VI is for you! If you have a child with a growing foot that's somewhat serious about basketball but you aren't ready to commit to higher priced shoes, then this is for you! It's a budget no frills basketball shoe, lace em up and get your run in.... Received the Nike Precision VI, size 10, red with white trim. These Nike shoes are incredibly comfortable on my short hiking ventures. The soft and flexible upper materials hugs my feet perfectly, and the cushioned sole provides excellent support for my arches. The sizing was spot on. The shoes felt snug in all the right places and had just the right amount of room around the toes without discomfort. I mainly use these shoes for my morning jogs and short walks, and they have been perfect for these activities. The lightweight and flexible design helped me fly through my jogs, and they provide the right amount of cushioning for my feet. The only downside is that they may not work for people with wider feet. Flexing on and off the court
Okay, listen. These shoes are BEAUTIFUL. Like so much so that I almost don't even want to wear these on the court or in the gym. They are also comfortable shoes to just wear all day and I almost prefer these as my top athleisure shoes.Breaking it down into performance realms:On court 9/10 -These shoes are super responsive and have a great fit immediately out of the box. Great for lateral movement, stopping on a dime, and standing your ground. Being on the lighter side I was worried how they would perform in the post, but the grip on these babies made it easy to box out and go hard in the paint. My only pain point with these, like I said above, is these shoes are beautiful and I was SWEATING worried about someone stepping on them. I still need to put more time ... MoreOkay, listen. I still need to put more time on these to test durability but these are excellent. In the gym 9/10 -Being as impressed as I was with these on court I decided to take them through a light workout in the gym (CrossFit style). They performed better than I expected overall. I would not say they are my primary choice for these and I did not test them under heavy load, but for not being training shoes they held their own VERY well. I was able to get jumps, lunges, air squats, and erg work done very comfortably. I could see these being great for a lot of training on and off the court.Athleisure 10/10 -These are the first basketball shoes I have work comfortably all day off the court. And honestly with how great they look I think they may be something I wear the most outside of the gym. Have taken these on errands and traveling and they are absurdly comfortable. From everything above I would recommend these for so many different things.... Show more

Great for basketball AND cross training!
I'm female and have wide forefeet, high arches, and narrow heels. I often buy men's Nike shoes because women's shoes are sometimes too narrow for me. These fit me true to size. I'm very pleased with the grip and unique shape of the outsole, allowing for enhanced agility and cutting. The midsole underfoot has just the right balance of firmness and cushioning (not too soft and not too firm), with the right amount of responsiveness each time I jump. The upper is comfortable and does not hug my foot too tight, but there is perhaps a bit too much padding in the upper overall, which seems to make the shoe less breathable, especially in hot Texas summers. I would rate these shoes higher if not for this issue. I have the red/crimson/gold pair, and it looks exactly as pictured in the stock photos. These shoes are very versatile and can be worn for basketball, cross training, or leisure activities. Great bang for your buck!... Show more

Pleasant for basketball and even casual walking
First, I want to start off and say this sneaker is very comfortable for a basketball sneaker at their price-point. Sometimes, I feel like I can continue to walk in these, even after a quick scrim. However, although very comfortable, basketball sneakers should have more support, and these does not have that in order to differentiate between casual sneakers and basketball sneakers. After playing in these in a few casual scrimmages, I can say that it does provides some support and decent amount of stability. The sneaker doesn’t hurt my feet but I don’t see these being something you would want to wear if you were, for example, in a team. More so, I would recommend these for casual games, as I see these would shine the most. However, I would say that the traction of this ... More so, I would recommend these for casual games, as I see these would shine the most. However, I would say that the traction of this sneaker is superb and you can really feel it on the court, compared to asphalt or concrete. It has a good mount of grip that you can quickly change in direction during a game easily which is nice.Nevertheless, the color is beautiful. I have the red/white/gold version and it just pops. I love the color and the gold accents complements the shoe well. The sizing is also true to size. If you have a wide feet, I would recommend half a size up from your true size. Again, these are very comfortable. More so, you can go walk in these. They feel really light and have some decent amount of cushioning.A thing I would change is to provide more support for the ankles. The laces also seem to undo quite a bit also when playing. Overall, I feel like these sneakers is quite satisfactory and great. In the end, I would recommend these sneakers for casual games, but would look elsewhere for something more serious.... Show more

Premium looks on a budget
These caught my eye in the red / white color way. I'm usually a Nike Signature Shoe buyer (think LeBron, Kobe, Jordan, etc), but these have the look and couldn't pass on them for the price. I get vibes of a high end, low cut mashup of Kobe and Kyrie shoes, which I like a lot.Fit: These fit like most Nike basketball shoes, maybe a bit longer than some of the newer premium pairs from LeBron / Kyrie, which I think fit a bit snug. Very comfortable right out of the box and didn't need any break-in period for me. Did a shoot around in them and have used them a few times for a cross-fit style workout so far and like the way they feel. They are locked in and laces do a good job of snugging things down. Pretty hard to beat for a low cost Nike basketball option. The white / red pair really stands out! Hard to explain, but they look way more expensive than they are.PROS: Love the looks and comfort right out of the box. Seem to wear pretty well and the cushioning has remained supportive so far. This is a reasonably priced Nike basketball option that punches way above its class!CONS: Not much so far. There is a slight wrinkle that forms at the tip of the toe box that doesn't affect performance, but kinda annoying to look at for a brand new shoe. Will see how they hold up and wear in over time.... Solid Option for Indoor Hoops
The Nike Precision series has always had it's place in the market as a solid Nike hoops shoe that's not a part of Nike's signature lines (like Lebrons, KDs, Kobes, etc). Looking at this shoe from a cost perspective, it's more budget friendly but still packs enough tech and features to be a solid option for indoor hooping (possibly outdoor too but we'll get to that). For starters, it's a low cut sneaker so it's built to provide you with agility and mobility, not too much stability in the ankle area. Not a knock at all; if you're hooping in low cut shoes, you know what you're getting at this point. There's enough padding in the upper that makes you feel like you have cushioning on all sides, especially the collar and tongue areas. I copped the red and white pairs and ... Not a knock at all; if you're hooping in low cut shoes, you know what you're getting at this point. There's enough padding in the upper that makes you feel like you have cushioning on all sides, especially the collar and tongue areas. I copped the red and white pairs and the gold accents on these are really nice; they don't feel thrown in as an afterthought or look cheap. Very impressed. The soles feature a twist on the classic Nike basketball herringbone pattern (disclaimer: it's my all time favorite sole pattern because of the way it grips the court under your feet; it's grippy but still feels sharp enough to help you make cuts on a dime). The middle of the sole is cut out (as well as parts of the midsole) to reduce some weight (it could just be a design choice). Speaking of the sole, it features a little wing on the outer sole by the forefoot, which adds to the stability of the shoe; you feel like you have a bigger and more stable platform to push off from.Very basic lacing system with flat laces on the thinner side. The uppers by the forefoot area are made from a pretty thick material that might cause some issues if your feet run hot or sweaty and you need a lot of ventilation. When I played in these, it was in an open gym during the winter so the weather was on the cooler side. Summer runs in 90 degree, high humidity gyms with these might not be kind to those who run hot/get sweaty feet. While I love the herringbone pattern mentioned above, i'm not so sure how these would hold up on outdoor courts. Depending on the condition of the asphalt, they could eat thru the pattern pretty quickly. All in all, a really solid budget option for indoor hoopers that don't want to drop money on a signature line and just need a good hoop shoe.... Strong basketball shoe for forwards
The first thing you notice about them is how comfortable they are straight out of the box, no break in period needed. The lace system is fantastic at holding your foot in place with no slippage. The looks of the shoe are great, between the futuristic design and color scheme I always had people at the court asking me what they were. When actually playing, the traction held up wonderfully on indoor and outdoor courts alike. The only issue I found is the outrigger on the shoe, which is very pronounced. So much so that it takes some getting used to and makes it feel odd playing as a guard, but gives the stability needed for other positions. As far as basketball shoes go, the comfort is fantastic, but I wouldn’t say comfortable enough to wear as a daily shoe. Overall, a ...
