These are easily the best gym shorts I’ve had.The material feels premium, they have a good stretch to them, and they fit really well (there’s also a lot of sizing options).The pockets are pretty standard, no zips.They feel secure, and the material is durable, so I’m not scared of the material ripping when using a dipping belt.I feel comfortable doing short runs, weightlifting, and circuit training in them.Only con would be the price, but this is a premium product, and you get what you pay for.

These shorts are the best! They're lightweight, comfortable, and look good. I've been wearing them to play basketball, football and run and they are cool--the fabric wicks sweat away--and they stay in place.The pockets are awesome! They're a bit far back (toward the back of the seam), which is unusual, but they fold over and keep stuff from falling out. I wish more of my shorts had these pockets.They definitely run a bit small, as I usually wear a small and the mediums fit perfectly.I definitely recommend these shorts for anyone looking for comfortable workout shorts that can also be worn around as casual shorts on the weekends.

I am a diabetic who uses a insulin pump. Most shorts' pocket are just designed for you hand to go into and out easily. During some activities, my insulin pump will magically come out of my pocket. The pockets that these shorts have are designed to keep stuff in them. That is the biggest plus for me. I wear these short for sleeping. My insulin pump is attached to my body the whole night. Before these shorts, I would wake up and and my pump would be out of my pocket and the attachment tube would be wrapped around my body. NO more. The pockets on these shorts keep the pump in them all night. They are great. Thank you.

Overall these shorts are alright. Between sizes so went up to a L and they are a little loose. Have used these for running and, if they are meant to be running shorts, they definitely are a bit long but the slit on the outside of the leg is a huge plus. The fabric feels nice and is comfortable, they also wash up/dry really well - no special treatment needed. For the high price point though, I’m not blown away. My biggest complaint is the pockets. There’s a flap, presumably to keep items from falling out, which is a nice idea but has not been executed well. It makes the pockets tricky to access and they almost feel as though they have been sewn in backward. I am a 6'2" man and I bought 3 of these after owning 2 pairs of the Men's Pro Rep shorts that used the hybrid waist band thinking they'd be similar to before. These are 100x worse than those, but cost more. The material on these shorts is definitely more breathable, but it has less flexibility and absolutely minimal space in the groin area. I don't know how these can be classified as "Training" shorts if I can't even bend over or squat comfortably. Heavily considering returning all of 3 of these. The original Pro Rep's hybrid waist band and overall design provided a lot more space in the front around the groin area, making any sort of exercise very comfortable.
I wasn’t sure what to think of these shorts when I first saw them, but I was immediately struck by how light these things are! The feel of the fabric also threw me for a loop—it’s very smooth to the touch, but smooth and thin together doesn’t always go so well.However, the benefits of these shorts were immediately evident during my first run with them—my legs SWEAT when I run—and for once, I didn’t have to worry about my shorts sticking to my legs.Great performance, but also comfortable to wear around the house. The elastic waistband is interesting—it almost gives them an appearance of underwear, but again, the benefits were clear when I realized I would not need to constantly re-tighten drawstrings, like I do with my other shorts.Very happy with these shorts!
The original version of this short was THE greatest workout short of all time. All time. They’ve made them longer and more baggy and it just doesn’t work. The flex blend material is still tough and amazing. I wish more shorts were made of this material. But it’s too bad they changed the fit in these. They’re no good. I hope they bring back the slimmer 7” fit
